It was 8 pm and your arm was becoming tender busily whisking away at the smooth cookie batter. Grains of caster sugar glazed the varnished counter as you cautiously carve hearts and cats out of the dough.

Earlier this morning, a buzz in your pocket had caught your attention.

With droopy eyes, you place cookies into a plastic container fastened with silky F/C ribbon. It was almost like a fever dream, somehow ending up in your bed, you get ready for the morning. Recalling the precious package, you slip a beautifully decorated container of cookies into your school bag hoping C/N will find them delicious.

You did have a few classes where you could consider passing the cookies to him, but in the end, it was too nerve-racking in front of everyone. You were getting frustrated with yourself and decided to just do it whenever you saw him next. The bell rang signaling the end of the day. It was more than disheartening to say the cookies hadn't moved an inch the whole day.

Stepping out of the school gates, C/N sat leaning up against a steel railing waiting for the traffic light to to turn green. It took everything you got to go up to him. Tugging on the sleeve of his shirt, you signal his eyes to the delicious container of cookies. Struggling to get a word out your mouth, it was surprising anything came out at all.

"C/F/C cookies"
"Aw thanks Y/N"

It wasn't a lot, but the smile he gave you fuelled your happiness for the next week.

Thank you so much for reading, I really hope you enjoyed this one. I wrote this in 30 minutes so it might not be within your expectations but it was really fun.

I haven't really been motivated to update this series but just got a random serge of energy to write about this. Let's hope it stays that way lmao. I have a few more ideas for future scenarios but let me know by either commenting or messaging me if you have anything you specifically want to see.
