A few weeks after Daniel bursted into Cobra Kai.

Y/n woke up on his 16th birthday to the sound of his dad's voice echoing through the house. "Wake up, birthday boy! Your Uncle Jack is here!"

Rubbing the sleep from his eyes, Y/n slowly sat up in bed, a mix of excitement and curiosity filling his mind. He couldn't help but wonder what surprise awaited him on this special day. As he made his way downstairs, he found his dad, Johnny, waiting for him in the living room, a hint of anticipation in his eyes.

"Happy birthday, champ!" Johnny greeted him with a warm smile, although there was a tinge of guilt in his voice. He knew he hadn't always been the most present father, but he was determined to make this day special for Y/n.

Y/n returned the smile, appreciating the effort his dad was putting into making his birthday memorable. "Thanks, Dad. So, what's the plan for today?"

Before Johnny could respond, the front door swung open, and in walked Uncle Jack, Johnny's brother. He had a mischievous glint in his eyes, always ready to stir things up with his quick wit and banter.

"Well, well, well, if it isn't the birthday boy!" Uncle Jack exclaimed, playfully ruffling Y/n's hair. "Another year older, huh? Time flies!"

Y/n chuckled, used to his uncle's playful teasing. "Yeah, Uncle Jack. Can't believe I'm 16 already."

Uncle Jack turned to Johnny, a sly grin spreading across his face. "You know, Johnny, I had to come all the way here just to make sure this kid gets a proper birthday celebration. Seems like you're slacking in the dad department."

Johnny let out a sheepish laugh, knowing his brother was just teasing him. "Hey, I'm trying my best here, Jack. We're gonna make this day unforgettable."

Uncle Jack's teasing tone softened as he pulled something from his pocket and presented it to Y/n. "Speaking of unforgettable, I've got something special for you, kiddo."

Y/n's eyes widened in surprise as Uncle Jack revealed a set of car keys. He looked closer and saw the iconic Chevrolet logo on the keychain. "No way... Is that..."

Uncle Jack grinned proudly. "It sure is, Y/n. A 1969 Chevrolet Camaro, just like we used to work on back in Florida. It's all yours now."

Y/n's excitement reached its peak as he realised what this gift meant. "Uncle Jack, you're giving me the Camaro? Seriously?"

Uncle Jack nodded, his eyes filled with affection for his nephew. "You've always had a knack for cars, Y/n. It's time you had a set of wheels that matches your passion. Take good care of her."

Overwhelmed with gratitude, Y/n pulled his uncle into a tight hug. "Thank you so much, Uncle Jack. This means the world to me."

As the rest of the day unfolded, Y/n and his family celebrated his birthday, basking in the joy and laughter that filled the air. The Camaro stood proudly outside, a symbol of their bond and shared memories. And as Y/n drove his new car for the first time, a sense of freedom and empowerment washed over him, knowing that with every twist of the ignition, he was embarking on a new chapter of his life, with the love and support of his family by his side.

Y/n's heart swelled with a mixture of joy and sadness as he sat behind the wheel of the 1969 Chevrolet Camaro, a gift from his Uncle Jack. The sleek black car was a masterpiece they had worked on together during their time in Florida, pouring their shared love for automobiles into every detail. But as Y/n took in the sight of the car, memories of his mother, Alexia Rivers, flooded his mind.

Alexia had been a remarkable woman with a passion for adventure and a deep love for her family. She had passed away far too soon, leaving behind a void that seemed impossible to fill. Y/n often found himself yearning for her presence, especially during moments like these when her absence was keenly felt.
