Harry

Harry was ridiculously relieved to get out of the Dursley's house. He had a pretty terrifying day so far, of chasing of dementors, getting in trouble with the Ministry, and the escapde of evacuating with some members of The Order of the Phoenix. He was extremely grateful that Dumbledore really did take him seriously, and there was now a group of skilled wizards and witches that stood by his side.

That is, until he realized that there was a sanctuary the whole time, with the Weasleys, Sirius, and the Order camping in, while he was getting tortured by his cousin, uncle and aunt.

He was left out the whole time, and neither his godfather, nor his best friends had told him.

To say he was mad was an understatement.

"SO YOU HAVEN'T BEEN IN THE MEETINGS, BIG DEAL! YOU'VE STILL BEEN HERE, HAVEN'T YOU? YOU'VE STILL BEEN TOGETHER! ME, I'VE BEEN STUCK AT THE DURSLEY'S FOR A MONTH! AND I'VE HANDLED MORE THAN YOU TWO'VE EVER MANAGED AND DUMBLEDORE KNOWS IT- WHO SAVED THE SORCERER'S STONE? WHO GOT RID OF RIDDLE? WHO SAVED BOTH YOUR SKINS FROM THE DEMENTORS?" Everything that Harry had been holding in from the past few weeks was pouring out of him- every single bitter, resentful, frustrated thought, swirling together like a massive hurricane and bursting out of him, wanting to make others hurt the way he had been hurt, feel betrayed like he had felt betrayed.

"WHO HAD TO GET PAST DRAGONS AND SPHINXES AND EVERY OTHER FOUL THIING LAST YEAR? WHO SAW HIM COME BACK? WHO HAD TO ESCAPE FROM HIM? ME!"

Ron was looking quite stunned at Harry's outburst, while Hermione was at the verge of tears.

"BUT WHY SHOULD I KNOW WHAT'S GOING ON? WHY SHOULD ANYONE BOTHER TO TELL ME WHAT'S HAPPENING?"

"Harry we wanted to tell yo-" Hermione started, but in the midst of Harry's rage, he didn't want to hear it. He continued onto his rant.

"CAN'T'VE WANTED TO TELL ME THAT MUCH, CAN YOU, OR ELSE YOU'D HAVE SENT ME AND OWL, BUT DUMBLEDORE MADE YOU SWEAR-"

"Well-"

"FOUR WEEKS I'VE BEEN STUCK IN PRIVET DRIVE, NICKING PAPERS OUT OF BINS AND TRYING TO  FIND OUT WHATS GOING ON-"

"Harry-"

"I SUPPOSE YOU'VE BEEN HAVING A GREAT LAUGH, HAVEN'T YOU, HOLED UP HERE TOGETHER-"

"We're sorry!" Hermione finally burst into tears. "You're right Harry, I would've been furious if it were me, b-but.."

Harry glared at her, his rage slowly subsiding. He knew, deep inside, that it was wrong to judge his friends so harshly for something they had no control over, but he couldn't stop his hurt and anger, and instead of penning it up, he'd set it loose. Hedwig hooted glumly from her perch.

"So where's this place, anyways." Harry huffed, trying to calm down.

"Headquarters of the Order of the Phoenix." Ron said quickly.

"Who's in it?"

"Quite a few people, you've met some of them." Hermione hiccuped.

"And?"

"And what?" Ron said blankly.

"Voldemort! What did they discuss?"

"We don't know Harry! We really don't, they never let us listen to the meetings!"

"Well..." Ron started, a sly look on his face. But before he could finish, the door opened, and all three of them jumped.

"Harry, dear, thought you might like something to eat, you're looking quite thin, the Muggles still haven't been treating you better?" Mrs Weasley asked, concerned.

"No," Harry answered politely, "thank you."

Barely a few seconds after they had left the bedroom and gotten downstairs, Moody growled, "Someone's broken in."

Well, that caused quite the ruckus.

They were discussing who would go check it out, when Harry started feeling a bit restless. If Voldemort had sent a scout, he wanted to confront him/her and actually do something useful in the war that had begun because of him.

"I want to go." Harry said, inching forward. A head suddenly swiveled around and glanced at him in shock. Sirius was here! As much as Harry wanted to go greet his godfather, now was obviously not the right time. Sirius was shooting him a look that said: "please don't please don't go." A twinge of frustration flashed through Harry, and immediately after that, Mrs Weasley was scolding him, explaining in a motherly tone on why he shouldn't go.

"I'll go." Sirius said. Harry looked at him pointedly. He was a fugitive. Him being there would probably be as dangerous as Harry going there! But naturally, he got to go, and Hermione, Ron and Harry were ushered upstairs again with food and complaints from the adults that it would be dangerous for them to be there when the suspect was brought inside.

"Ugh." Harry stomped around upstairs. "Why? Every time. I'm what Voldemort wants, I need to know whats going on! Now how am I supposed to know!" There was suddenly "POP!" and two identical mischievous smile appeared in front of Harry.

"Well-"

"Luckily we-"

"Us true geniuses-"

"Have introduced a little something-"

"To the Wizarding World."

"Behold!"

"Extendable ears!" Fred and George Weasley proclaimed.

"Extendable what?"

"Remember when you asked whether we knew anything about the meeting?" Harry nodded.

"Well,  Hermione and I don't, but these two," Ron pointed to the grinning Weasley twins, "these two managed to get some information, but won't bloody tell us anything!" Fred, (or George?) sniggered.

"Well, if it helps, watching you storm around getting pissed off was pretty entertaining!" Ron glared daggers at the twins, who were completely unfazed.

"Well, what do you say, Harry, wanna use these sweet tools to crack open the case of the mysterious intruder?" All of them grinned.

"What are they sayinggg..." Ginny complained, bouncing up and down impatiently.

"Hush, Ginny, we're trying to listen." The five of them, Harry, Ron Hermione, Fred and George were all in position, listening carefully. Using his Extendable Ear, Harry could make out faint whisperings from the dining .

"-how did he get in-"

"-he might be a dark wizard-"

"-he's just a boy!"

So their mysterious culprit was a boy who may or may not be a dark wizard. Great. Harry frowned and tried to listened even more carefully.

"-he's so pale, and thin..."

"-he looks like he's never had a full meal.."

"-thinner than Harry.."

And apparently he was mistreated as well.

"Blood! He's bleeding everywhere, look, and that wound on his shoulder...  we need to fix that!" That was Mrs Weasley. There were only murmurs about the intruder when....

All six of them jumped as they heard the loud thumping sounds. Harry's blood chilled as a new voice cut through the stunned silence, sending a chill down Harry's spine, uttering three words:

"Who are you."
