Hello again! What did you think about Fable's story? I wanted to make sure it's interesting, so if something's wrong feel free to tell me! This is the last chapter before Fable actually meets any of the Beyblade characters, then it starts to get interesting!

Reader's Point of View

"Guardian Phantom! Ghost crash!" an excited whisper gave its command and, somehow, it was heard. The silver and purple bey reached the height of its ascent before silently falling down on its startled opponent. The satisfying sound of a burst rang out while Phantom gracefully returned to spinning around the stadium.
"Oh come on! Again?" the defeated blader (OC) sighed in disbelief. "It's the whispering, not us. It's too hard to figure out what we should do when it's impossible to figure out what you're doing." The other, victorious blader simply smiled in response and picked up her own bey before reaching down to reassemble her best friend's. Giving it back to the other girl, she said, "Hey, you'll get it next time. Trying working on your launch before then, though; it looked a little unstable."
"Ah, that's got to be it! Yes, I'll practise and practise and practise, so Raid Huntress and I will beat you in our next battle!" the brunette smiled with a determined shine in her eyes. Before the two could continue their conversation, a woman (OC) dressed smartly in an olive-green shirt and a black skirt and tights came up onto the roof. She called out the girl who had won the battle.
"Fable! Aunt Grace sent me to get you. You aren't late for a shift, are you?" the girl thought for a moment, then shook her head no.
"I don't think I am," she replied. Then turning to her friend, she said, "Sorry Kate, I'd better go and see what this is about."
"No problem, honey! I have homework to be doing anyway." After hearing this, instead of following the woman back down the stairs, Fable ran over to the edge of the roof and hopped onto the ladder. Climbing about three floors down this, she then jumped from the ladder to the ledge of an open window in the neighbouring building. From there, she entered the room beyond it: her bedroom. She ran out of it and down the stairs into Aunt Grace's (OC) tea room, Curiositea (Original Place?).

"Hey Aunt Grace!" she called cheerfully. "What did you want me for?" A woman, maybe in her late forties or early early fifties, turned around from where she had been talking to an elderly couple, who Fable immediately recognised as the regular customers Mr and Mrs Green (OCs).
"Ah, Fable," she said, walking over. "Did you have fun blading with Kate?"
"Yep! Won every time," the blue-haired girl stated proudly.
"Fantastic - I'm glad to hear you're still having so much fun, which brings me nicely onto my next topic. Your brother, as a reward for doing so well in his GCSEs, is going to Japan for a few months with his girlfriend to watch the Beyblade tournaments starting soon. He sent me a letter to ask if you'd like to join them. I don't mind finding someone to cover your shifts while you're gone."
"I'd love that! But won't it be too expensive?"
"Your parents are paying for everything, except what I'll have to pay for someone to cover your shifts." That didn't make much sense to the girl, who had been forced to find a new home because said parents didn't want her.
"Of course," Aunt Grace continued, "they don't know that they're paying for you to go. They believe that your brother's girlfriend has a cousin staying over while their parents are on holiday. Your parents said they would be happy to pay for the cousin to join the pair, as it would be a highly educational experience to spend a couple of months in a Japanese school while you're there." Best. Day. Ever.
"Yes, yes, yes, yes, YESSSSSS! Ever since you helped me to create Guardian Phantom, I've really wanted to visit Japan, where the sport was first invented! I'd really like to catch up with my brother as well, and meet his girlfriend."
"Very well. I'll send a letter back to him to let him know."

2 weeks later, Fable was off to Japan. Well, in the airport trying really hard to figure out where her brother (OC) was. Was it possible they just walked passed each other without realising? No, it had been some years since they last saw each other in person, but she knew she'd recognise him. Once a few months back, he took a risk and sent her a photo of him and his new girlfriend - they loosely got back in touch after Fable came to Aunt Grace's and settled down a bit - and then Fable took an even greater risk and sent him a photo of herself. If their parents had seen it that would have ended terribly, but she wasn't really known for caution.

After wandering around for maybe 10 more minutes, she finally spotted her brother with a girl who must have been at Emma (OC), his girlfriend.
"Matthew Rowley! I've been looking everywhere for you!" she said, trying to fake anger but smiling brightly.
"Fae! It's been ages since we last talked in person! Oh, and sorry we're a bit late. How have you been?" he asked, delighted to see his younger sister again.
"I've settled into my new home up North very well and made some good friends. How have you been? Aaaaand, how have you been, Emma? Matt's not been too annoying, I hope."
"Not at all!" the older teenage girl replied. "We've been great too, and it's wonderful to finally meet Matthew's little sister, or my little cousin, should I say. I've heard so much about you from him!" The trio spent the next couple of hours catching up and jumping through all the various hoops for the airport staff before they were at last allowed to board the plane. A few hours later again, the plane touched down in Japan and they headed over to the apartment they would be staying in, in an area called Beigoma. Matt told Fable that, between watching the tournaments, she would be attending the Beigoma Academy and that she should go and see Principal Shinoda tomorrow.
