"Well, then my love I do believe you owe me a kiss?" Hanzo breathed against her skin. "I don't owe you anything Hanzo, get off me" Stephanie whispered harshly, pushing him away; though he didn't budge as he was so much stronger than the smaller girl. "Well you promised me a kiss in exchange for helping you. I've only come to collect my payment". The two stared at each other, Hanzo's face decorated with an amused smug smirk. Stephanie's face on the other hand was beet red, an unimpressed scowl present. She finally sighed leaning forward, locking their lips together. At first the kiss was an aggressive mess fueled by Stephanie's rage, however as soon as Hanzo took control the kiss became a gentle touch that danced against their lips."

Oh, how I'd die to be Stephanie. To have that fiery passion, that undying love for another person. That one person that will do anything for you. They'll be so in love with you, as much as you are with them. Alas, love seems to hate me and does not want to give me my happily ever after. Although I am afraid of being in love again, more afraid of love than Arrio is of homework. I can't help but wish that one day I'd find someone to love me in such a way. I sigh softly and rest my chin in my hand. Looking up at the clock by my bed whilst bookmarking my spot in "The Cliche Playboy" and standing to set it in its spot on my bookshelf. I have a morning class with Mr. Heathcliff for creative writing. So as a result, I will be free until around 1 pm, leaving lots of time to read.

I moved to my closet and grabbed the comfiest hoodie I owned, a white hoodie with a soft fleece-like interior, it had black and white butterflies on the front and sleeves. It was one of my favorites, partly because my Mepa got it for my birthday but also because it was big enough that it reaches about mid-thigh when I wear it. I smiled and pulled out a simple pair of black leggings and some pastel pink socks- a gift I got from Arrio also on my birthday. Slipping the socks on before pulling the leggings on my legs. Shuffling around my jewelry box for my earrings- light gold butterflies- they were decently sized, not too big, nor too small. Walking into the closet again, I shuffled through the bottom of it searching for the right shoes. I needed them to be simple yet also fashionable enough that I won't feel embarrassed since I wasn't dressed completely down. "Aha! Got you!" I screech in victory. Holding up a pair of classic black and white converse, as if they were an item in a video game. Going to the bathroom I look into the mirror to fix my long curly ebony brown hair into a slightly rushed ponytail. Not having the time nor patience to try and slick it back or do my edges. I then apply a little bit of mascara to make my honey brown eyes look almost gold. I grabbed my book bag and left for class.

As I ran across campus I did my best not to run into anybody, even then it seemed I wasn't careful enough as I proceeded to run into someone anyways. 'Good going Elaine' I thought, yelping as I landed on the floor. I quickly get up and brush myself off. I looked up to see who I ran into, going to apologize as I got up. "Oh, I'm sorry," I said looking up. It was a tall person with dark coloured hair, though most of it was covered by a bright pink beanie. They were wearing a tank top and some sweatpants. Which is strange considering that it's the middle of autumn. On top of that the fact that they look strangely like someone I've seen before... Eh, it's whatever.

The mystery person grabbed my hand before I even got the chance to think about getting up all the way. Pulling a bit too roughly caused me to almost fall over, damn they must be strong. Considering all the other people that can do that have also been able to lift about 300 pounds. Though I am considerably light, plus I don't interact with many people so it's hard to tell. "Th..thank you, I'm Elaine. It's nice to meet you," I said, trying to compose myself again. "No problem, I'm Mamoru. Sorry for crashing into you like that," they replied politely. Their voice was very calming, like water rushing over rocks in a shallow river. That made me smile a little. "No, if anything it was my fault. I wasn't watching where I was going." See when it comes to situations like this I always try to take the blame no matter if it's my fault or not. It's a problem, I know, but I can't help it. That's what trauma does to you I guess. They just gave me a small smile and replied, "Well if you don't mind I have to get back to work, but I do hope to see you around." I nodded as we parted ways.

As I arrived at Mr. Heathcliff's I was waved over by Kylee- we somehow became good friends even though we're complete opposites. She was one of those people with split dyed hair that constantly changed, like someone else I know she had multiple piercings. She was a lot curvier than me and a little bit taller. Since we were so different you wouldn't think we'd be very good friends, however one day we got paired for a project and suddenly we became decent enough friends. She was cool and for some reason, she thought I was too. "Hey E, whatcha been doin'" she greeted as I sat down next to her. "Nothing, almost done with that new book I told you about." She looked at me shocked. "You're almost done with a book you started not but two days ago." I simply shrugged. "If it wasn't for all the work I have I would have finished it by now." she let out a low whistle "Damn, it would take me about a month to even make a dent in a book like that." I let out a small laugh. Just then Mr.Heathcliff walked in. "Ok class, I want you to pull out your last assignment, and let's get started on some peer review." Many people let out a groan, I just had a small smile on my face.
