Yeoreum didn't know what to do or where to go after a break up with Yuta. She cried as she had to admit that the feelings she thought she had for him weren't actually there and were just a part of the scenarios she always used to make up before bed. The sight of Yuta's eyes watering was one Yeoreum never thought she'd have seen and it hurt incredibly when she did. She still loved him as a friend - but that wasn't enough to be in a relationship.

He didn't say much back, so Yeoreum wasn't exactly sure how he felt, though the tears and sad eyes gave her some kind of clue. Or maybe - just like her - he loved her too much as a friend that it still hurt to be breaking up their week old relationship? Maybe he also felt the same way she did but didn't want to break her heart just like he promised to himself?

Yeoreum walked around without a destination, when she noticed a convenience store, she walked in once a sudden craving for ice cream took over.
She sat outside of the store, eating the sweet snack as she looked up at the sky. She smiled to herself just admiring how pretty it looked even though not many stars were showing. When she decided to look around the people walking by, she almost choked and the sound she made caught the person in question's attention. Great.

Haechan walked over to the girl with crazy eyes and stood in front of her as she looked up at him. "What the hell was that about?"

Yeoreum furrowed her brows. "What did I do now?"

The boy scoffed, tilting his head back. "Harin? You're telling me she's your best friend?"

"I never said she was my best friend."

"Fine, just a friend then-"

"Just someone I know." Yeoreum kept on licking her ice cream, acting unbothered. "Why? You didn't like her? I thought she was your type."

"You-" Haechan poke the inside of his cheek with his tongue. "You're unbelievable. Crazy isn't my type, if you haven't noticed."

"I meant easy, but whatever fits." She suddenly stood up and started walking away after finishing her snack which only made Haechan fume in annoyance.

"Hey, where are you going?"

"Home?" She rolled her eyes at him and continued walking.

Haechan, even more annoyed, ran over to the girl and blocked her way. Yeoreum sighed and looked at him with questioning eyes. "Why didn't you set me up with someone normal?"

"Why does it even matter? It was supposed to be a fake relationship anyways, wasn't it?"

"That means I don't deserve to get to know a nice girl?"

Yeoreum scoffed as the anger began to build inside her. "I'm not your match maker, you're capable of doing that yourself."

"So you're not jealous?" He suddenly blurred out, taking Yeoreum off guard. Her eyes widened a little as she scoffed and laughed, playing it cool.

"What the hell are you talking about?" She added and walked around him, trying to get away as if his question didn't make her feel anything.

Haechan bit his bottom lip as he gathered everything in him to make his next move.

"Because I am jealous."

Yeoreum paused. Her mouth fell agape upon hearing his words and she clenched her fists, trying to contain whatever mix of emotions she was feeling. She gulped and finally turned around, meeting his eyes.
"What?"

Haechan sighed and bit his bottom lip. "I can't believe you're making me say this twice." He looked back into her eyes. "I'm jealous. Ok?"

"Jealous of-"

"Of the way you look at him, the way you smile whenever he's around, the way you got nervous whenever he was close to you-" He suddenly started walking over to Yeoreum who felt like she was frozen in place and didn't move a muscle. "Of the way he wrapped his arms around you. Of the way you didn't look at him with so much hatred in your eyes as you did at me before."

The girl gulped, staring piercing her eyes through Haechan as she stood still. "You don't look at me with that hatred anymore." His hands moved up to her face and he placed them on both of her cheeks gently. "Am I wrong?"

She gulped. "You're wrong."

A soft smirk appeared on Haechan's face. "Then why aren't you stopping me?"

She didn't seem like she wanted to argue or prove him otherwise, so after waiting for way too long to his liking, his lips gently pressed against hers. She tasted like the chocolate ice cream she just ate and he enjoyed every bit of it.

When he pulled away, they looked into each others eyes and Yeoreum then wanted to argue her point once more, but what she craved was stronger than anything else at that moment.

She wrapped her arms around Haechan's neck and pulled herself closer to him, almost throwing herself at the boy. He squeezed her tighter to his body as their lips moved in sync.

Suddenly, raindrops hit both their faces and eventually it started pouring rain within seconds which caused the two to break apart. Yeoreum looked up and laughed "I love rain!" then Haechan chuckled as well. When their eyes met, she said "But we can get under some roof!"

The boy smiled and said "I don't care." while pulling the girl towards him and placing his lips on top of hers once more as they let the rain fall down on them without a care.

And there it was - the fireworks Yeoreum thought she'd have during her first kiss with Yuta, but instead she got it with someone she disliked so much - with someone that made her blood boil before, yet now - made her feel like she was hovering above the ground.
