Jinxx let go of your wrists and stepped away from you before walking out of the room, hissing something at CC as he left. You slowly turned around to face CC, your eyes wide. If CC hadn't have shown up who knows what would have happened to you. a you felt like you were about to have a nervous breakdown. As if sensing this, CC hurried over to you and wrapped you Ina bear hug, he held you as you cried, saying that it would be okay, that he wouldn't let Jinxx or anyone else hurt you. there was something oddly comforting about CC hugging you so tightly that you could barely breathe. CC was still in his pajamas, he had only got around thirty more minutes of sleep and you felt bad for him, but at the same time you were glad that he had come downstairs when he had.
"You okay now, Y/N?" CC asked softly.
"Yeah, thanks," you said, your voice barely a whisper, before pulling away from him.
CC looked you in the eyes. "I promise you, I won't let them hurt you."
"I believe you," you said, managing a small smile.
