The nightmare pt. 2

🌑Moons POV:
It was close to the end of the day which meant the kids were about to leave. 💭I wonder how sunny is💭 I thought to myself. Once all the kids left I went in our room to check on him.

I walked in the room and and immediately heard sunny sobbing. My heart felt like it shattered into millions of pieces when I saw him. He was crying so hard and shaking while hugging my pillow tightly. I slowly walked over to him about to cry seeing him this way. I sat in the bed beside him and started to cuddle him gently so he knows I'm there. I started to notice him waking up and felt relieved. He finally woke up but was terrified. When he saw me his eyes widened as he quickly sat up loosening my grip on him " Sunny darling did you have a nightmare?" I ask him in a calm gently voice. He started to calm down more but was still pretty scared. I felt so bad for him. " I-I did...." He said as he stared to cry even more. I pulled him on my lap and made him face me. I hugged his waist while rubbing his back. " Oh my sweet sunshine I'm so sorry that happened.. would you like to talk about it?" I asked him wiping away his tears with my thumb " I just want comfort.." he said as he nuzzled his head in my chest. I pet his head while we both start to fall asleep.
