Excalibur

"Finally!" I cheered "Were here!"
We were in Saco, Maine where the best theme park north of Boston is. Its called Funtown Splashtown.
We got out of the car and got our bags. But when I looked
outside, I saw part of a massive rollercoaster, Excalibur.(Well, how else would i know the name if there wasn't a giant sign right on the big drop!)
"Woah," I said with awesomeness "we are SO going on that!"
"Okay." My mom answered. Also, By the look of my 2 brothers, Luke and will's faces, I could see that they wanted to go on it first too!
So we checked in, got our bracelets (it would be the most BORING JOB EVER to work at the front desk giving out tickets to the park.) and stepped into the park. Because we have already been here in the past, we knew that excalibur was kind of a ways of a walk away.
While we were walking to the coaster, we passed lots of fun rides, like the thunderbolt, the wild mouse and the grand prix racing (AKA go-karts) Also, we saw THOUSANDS of tourists going everywhere.
Finally we got to Excalibur. But the line was LONG, but we waited anyways.

Okay. now were in the kart.
The staff member, who looked like he was bored to death, strapped my safety belt over my lap.
After that I felt scared to death just sitting there for like 30 seconds, waiting for that same bored staff member to get it ready. It was the longest 30 seconds of my LIFE!

Okay! Were starting!
As they lifted me up, my heart beated like a snare drum during a drum roll. every inch of my body was frightened to the bone. What scared me the most was that the coaster was made of wood, so I felt the bottoms of my feet rattle every second.
We were on the top. I was shivering like it was -1,000 degrees outside!
Then, my world turned upside down in a nanosecond.
We rattled down the track at light speed, cutting through the crisp air (that was probably the best but massage EVER!)
After the extremely well-detailed description of the 3 second drop the tin can of a kart zipped up onto the top of the track at the speed of sound, and took a hard left that almost made the upper half of my body fly off the track. Then we went down again. ! crashed into Will, making him squeeze into the edge of the seat. then i shut my eyes.
Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
My eyes were closed the whole rest of the ride.
I felt myself twist and turn and drop down the rest of the ride.
I could hear the rattling of the wood while we rushed down the track. I swear, that roller coaster is going to break someday!
Then, I was stopped to a point that i was going to break through my safety belt, fly over the kart and crash onto the track
But i'm kidding. Those safety belts are just about indestructible!
It was over! The staff slowly eased us back to the building that we started with. I slowly got out of the kart, cracking every single bone in my body. I was going to sprint out of the line until...
I tripped
I smashed onto the ground, just waiting for people that I don't even know to laugh at me. When I got up, I felt a big bump on my head. Who cares. At least I had fun on the great coaster Excalibur!
