"Lu, I don't wanna go all out for him!", I said as I was preparing for my coffee date with Damiano David.

"Oh, but you do! You just don't want him to think that you went all out for him!

"Shut up!", I smiled.

"Damn, B. After all this time of not seeing him, you're still that into him!", she chuckled.

"Luna! Don't do that to me. We're just gonna grab some coffee that's all.", I tried to defend myself.

"Right. That is why you've been humming through the house ever since you saw him. Also, that's why you look like you're flying and not walking these days. I bet this sudden change of your mood has nothing to do with Damiano David.", she said and rolled her eyes.

"It does not!", I lied, more to myself than to her.

"Mhm.", she knew it.

"Give me that stupid dress!", I said as she was previously convincing me to wear one of my cute summer dresses. It was a short, A-line, white dress, with puffy sleeves.

"That's my girl!", she said.

"Do you think it's too short?", I looked at her.

"I do. Damiano's gonna love it!", she giggled and I rolled my eyes but my stomach was fluttering.

"Okay. Give me those white sandals, my hat, purse, and keys! Hurry up! He's going to be waiting.", I said and Luna obeyed my orders.

I locked my apartment and we headed out. Damiano's car was parked in front of my building.

"Did you put on some sexy panties?", Luna whispered as we were about to part.

"Luna! Shh! It's not gonna go that far!", I said and slapped her arm. She chuckled and departed.

Damiano got out of his car and opened the door for me.

"Well aren't we all cute and sexy!", he said as I approached him.

"Stop it!", I said rolling my eyes, and got in.

"Let's get out of the town!", he recommended.

"Sure. Just drive.", I said as he was staring at my thighs.

"To the beach.", he said.

"Wonderful!", I agreed.

We drove for about an hour before we reached one of the most beautiful beaches near Rome. The sun was setting and the people were leaving to get some rest before they came there again the next day. Some kids were crying because they didn't want to leave although their parents told them they were going to be there the next day, too. I giggled at the scene.

"I remember when I was a kid and my parents took me and my brother to this beach. I would throw myself at their feet begging them to stay a little longer.", Damiano said noticing my laugh.

We sat on the lounge chairs and looked at the sunset.

"You're lucky you have a sea. My country does not. We had to go to the neighboring country to get to the seaside for only 10 days of the whole summer.", I replied.

"That sucks."

"Well, I guess you appreciate it more that way. I've spent every second enjoying it to the fullest.", I said.

"True!", he agreed.

"You're different.", I said looking at the horizon.

"I guess.", he replied shortly.

"It's nice."

"Thank you. You were right about seeing a therapist. It helped me in every area of life.", he said seriously.
