Welp, I'm back somehow. It's summer and I don't know what to do because I don't have friends to "enjoy" the weather with. On a side note, I completely DESPISE summer weather, too hot and too many bugs.
With that being said, enjoy the stupidity?

I was once again awoken by a scaly bastard. Instead of giving him a reason to laugh, I just loudly sighed and got out of bed.

"Where's the usual reaction at?" I heard Slifer ask, I could sense slight disappointment from my lack of a reaction this morning.

"I've already grown used to it, you'll have to find new ways to annoy me." I said before starting to get ready for school.

I did the usual, making breakfast, sitting around for twenty minutes and then quickly showering and heading out. I don't know if I've said this before, but Yugi's hair is quite difficult to clean. After finishing all of that and getting my uniform on I left for school.

"So, how do you think tonight is gonna go?" I asked Slifer, I wasn't exactly nervous, but I had a feeling I'd end up messing something up.

"Just don't be an utter buffoon and you'll be just fine." Slifer responded, I knew that I just had to be somewhat competent tonight because of how simple this entire thing should be.

"Easier said than done, my natural instinct is to fuck around and additionally find out." I stated simply while waving my hands around like a moron.

"We'll continue this after school." Slifer said as his presence practically disappeared, leaving me alone with my thoughts.

(Timeskip to school gates)

"Ah~ Another day, another snooze fest. School isn't even that bad, I just despise needing to get up as early as I do." I said out loud to myself, I got a few quizzical looks toward me but just shrugged them off.

I walked into the building, prepared to not give a damn about the day. Instead I just mentally played a song and either hummed or tapped the melody of the song out. I walked into my class and sat down, keeping to myself mostly. There were the few times when the teacher called on me because he thought I was not paying attention. Otherwise, classes were the same as usual.

(Timeskip to lunch brought to you by the most obnoxious noise you can think of)

I approached the usual spot for lunch and spotted Koneko sitting there again. I greeted her, to which she greeted back, and then sat down to eat my own lunch. We sat in silence for a bit before, to my surprise, Koneko broke the silence.

"So, how have you been? Glad to see that those injuries of yours are healed." She said, it genuinely surprised me because I never expected her, of all people, to break the silence.

"I've been fine, just living life. I may not have the best grades, but passing is passing. How about you?" I replied while trying to maintain eye contact.

"Rad. I've been keeping my grades up, and helping my club." She monotonously said.

"Good, good. You're part of the Occult Research Club, right?" I asked, which prompted her to nod. "Well, we should finish lunch now, I guess."

After I said that, she hummed out a response before going back to eating her lunch. I returned to eating mine too. We silently ate our foods and then the bell rang, signaling that lunch was over.

"Well, I'll see you in class." I said as I got up and got my stuff together before leaving with a wave.

(Timeskip to the classroom)

As everyone flooded back into the classroom, I got back into the class and everybody sat down in their respective seats. Once everyone settled down the teacher began to do their job, that being teaching. I zoned out and was lost in thought.
