It's only a 3 weeks until we go back to school, and I am already dreading it. I've talked to my parents so many times about switching schools, but it's the same answer every time. "It can't be that bad, can it?" That's what they always say. But today was a bit different.
I trailed down the stairs, just thinking about school.
"Hey, what's up buttercup?" My mum said.
"I know what the answer is gonna be but, can i please switch school? To any private school, I don't mind!" I asked her for the 1000th time this month.
"Actually, you are moving school!" My mum told me excitedly.
"OH MY GOD!! Actually?" I screamed excessively.
"Yes actually!"
"What school?!" I asked her.
"The same on as James!"
"What? Like Prince James?" I said to her, stunned.
"Yeah what other James do we know silly!" She laughed.
"Oh my goodness! Thank you mum!"
I pulled her into a tight hug.

After texting James and Louise, i decided to have avocado toast for breakfast. I sat at our counter and scrolled through TikTok. Turns out the news about me, Kayla and Ben moving schools had already gotten out on TikTok, whilst eating. Luckily they don't know what school we're moving to so that's a relief. All my friends are also moving to James school, which means I won't be completely lonely. But with all these new people coming in, maybe James will call in love with them, but like I said, I have to get over James.
