Out There Somewhere

People say that magic doesn't exist. A pure fantasy as they call it, nothing but a child's dream and belief, an adults wish for an easier and more magical life. But there in the vast universe, far away are planets that can hold life just as Earth can hold us. With circles of life, green vegetation and beautiful blue waters to travel through. The thought of this being a possibility is a comforting yet terrifying thought. But what if I told you that we are out there, somewhere. My name is Star. Star Flake Bia. I live on a planet called Polemistis, where magic exists, mythical creatures hide, caves and waters are wild and dangerous, the inhabitants, intelligent, and the planet living peacefully... Sort of.

Let us start from the beginning of my wonderful planet. During an event that Earth humans call The Big Bang, four unique and strange objects float through space. The four objects crash landed onto a burning rock that was a little too close to it's burning white star. The four objects were small and oddly shaped but for some odd reason, they survived the crash but the rock it hit received a big crater from the objects. This caused the rock to stop spinning and orbiting, it caused the white star to stand still as well, even the flames and bursts of energy that arose from the star had frozen in time. The objects glowed brightly and emitted something you would never expect. Magic. The star started to dim over the years and the rock began to move away from that Star into a zone that Earth humans call The Goldilocks Zone. A zone where a planet is at a perfect distance from it's star, making it able to support life.

Once the planet had reached this zone, it slowly started to orbit and spin around the star which was now also moving, but of course dimmed down. Years later and the planet started to freeze. But there was water, which created all types of interesting species alike. Those species grew and grew over the years and eventually the planets ice age would come to a stop for no apparent reason. The planet quickly became habitable and healthy.

Human like creatures began to appear. Their DNA was somehow mixed with animals. It made them have human skin, combined with feathers or fur, some had tails and others had wings. Some had large ears or strange characteristics. Some were tall and others were tiny. The creatures were intelligent and they called themselves mystans. They were explorers, wondering the world, never settling on a place or island to stay, always adventuring in four separate, huge groups of mystan.

One day, a child from each group had wondered off to meet up with each other. One of the four was a teenage girl, she had short and straight black hair and her eyes were a gorgeous purple color. She wore clothes that mostly covered her skin, long sleeved sleek dress, purple and sparkly, and she held a ribbon in her gloved hands for some odd reason. She always refused to be rid of the ribbon, always saying that it was a part of her family's culture. "We bind our hands together with black silk ribbon to show others that we are harmless and kind. We keep our skin hidden so we can be ever closer to the darkness. The darkness is lonely, it needs a friend." She said. She called herself violet.

The other teenage girl was quite the opposite. She had long white hair tied back into a braided bun. Her skin, a bit darker then the other girl's and her eyes a lovely golden color. She wore clothes that showed skin unlike Violet, a short sleeved yellow shirt, and a white skirt that flowed gracefully. Her and her family had their own religious practices. "We expose our skin to bathe in the white sunlight. The sunlight which represents the brightness of our future and light of our present! We do what we want with our hands! Nobody tells us what we are, we decide for ourselves!" Her name was Apricity!

The other two were teenage boys. One called himself Hours. His hair was dark blue and it was short. His clothes were quite colorful but he only seemed to use cool colors. Like dark blues and dark purples. It would most likely remind one of space. He wore a button up suit with white buttons and a black vest underneath. His pants were black as well with speckled stars on them and his clothes had loosely hanging and sparkling ribbons as accessories. For some odd reason, he seems to always have golden sand in his pockets. Just like the other two, his family has practices as well. "We are taught to appreciate the time we have to live. We keep our hair short to keep it out of the way of our work and fun and we wear loose clothes as it's more comfortable. We believe that keeping sand from the ancient hourglasses is good luck. Everyday, we prey to live long lives with our families." He says.

The other boy is much more carefree and fashionable than the others. He has small hearts painted on his cheeks and strange painted markings on his face that make him look a bit more beautiful. His hair is actually quite long, almost as long as Apricity's hair, and it fades to pink at the bottom while the rest is a natural brown color. His clothes are quite beautiful too. His shirt is Pink and purple and slightly falls off his shoulders gracefully. His sleeves are long, flowy, see through and sparkly. He has black leggings underneath a flowy see-through skirt and he seems quite prideful in his appearance. He talks about his religion as if it is a trophy. "We wear what we want, as long as it presents us in the way we feel! We all treat ourselves like royalty. Every life is important, even yours! Every day, we look at our memories with fondness in order for life to go slowly and so we can enjoy the life we live!" He calls himself Sir James. But he allows his friends to just call him James.

The four teenagers loved bonding and going on adventures without their families for once. They liked sharing stories and practices with each other, teaching them to each other and playing. Their adventures would eventually come to an exciting turn. One day, James asked for an emergency meet up. "Hey lovelies! I've got a surprise for you! Come! Follow Sir James!" He says pridefully as he runs off towards a giant crater. The three are confused but they follow nonetheless. Apricity runs at the same speed as James. "What did you find James?" She asks excitedly. "You'll see, Priss!" He says teasingly. Apricity pushes him as they run, laughing. "I thought I told you to come up with a better nickname for me jerk!" She says. Violet and Hours walk behind them calmly, giggling and talking as they watch Apricity and James interact.

James carefully descends into the crater as Apricity falls on her face immediately and rolls down the crater. Hours and Violet jump down and land gracefully. James runs to the middle of the crater and gestures for them to hurry up. "Look at these pretty little things!" He says, looking down at them, not sitting on the dusty ground. "Oooo!" Apricity wasn't too concerned about her clothes as she knelt down to look closer at it. Violet and Hours look down to see four shiny glowing objects... "What are those?" Hours asks as he kneels down next to Apricity. "I don't know! I was walking around and I saw the crater and found these things! Pretty cool right, Violet?" He says with pride. Violet has a small smirk on her face. "Indeed! They are gorgeous." She says calmly.

"They reminded me of us when I saw them!" He says. The objects seemed to be very pretty pieces of jewelry. A pair of earrings with galaxy clocks on them that ticked slowly, a golden, thick, and probably expensive bracelet with shiny blue and yellow pearls on the outside, a shiny pink gem that was heart shaped, and a necklace with the charm being a strangely shaped and pitch black 8 symbol.

"That heart is me, because I'm obviously the most gorgeous~" He says pridefully. Violet giggles, Apricity stares at him and Hours rolls his eyes. "The clock earrings is Hours because I guess clocks." He shrugs, giving Hours a smug smile. Hours laughs and punches his leg. "Shut up." He says and he takes the earrings. "The bracelet is Apricity because she's bright and cheerful." He continues. Apricity smiles and excitedly grabs the fancy bracelet, twisting it around in her hands. "And the necklace is you Violet, because it's pretty and mysterious." He picks up the necklace and looks her in the eye when he says this. She smiles kindly at him and takes the necklace.

Hours rolls his eyes once more. "Is there ever a time when you aren't flirting with everyone you see?" He asks. James looked offended. "If there's ever a time when you aren't falling asleep while hugging an hour glass~" He says teasingly. "Aye! Don't try to insult father time!" Hours jokes. "Stop it guys! I think it's sweet that these reminded you of us!" Apricity says happily. "I agree with Apricity. Hours. James." Violet looks at them with a strict glare and starts to walk to exit the crater. She puts on the necklace. "Well, are we going?" She asks calmly. The boys stare at her for a second before Apricity grabs Hours's arm and pulls him along. "Whoa!" He shouts. James smiles happily and starts to run, following his friends......

Authors Note: I hope my readers enjoyed the first chapter of my original story! I'll of course still be continuing fanfic writing but I've added this for fun. Have fun!
