this years NFL draft was supposed to take place in Las Vegas

but covid had other plans

gianna, tee, and his family were all sitting on the couch watching as each player was picked

yesterday ended with Jeff gladney going to the vikings and Clyde edwards-helaire going to the chiefs

to start the second round the bengals had pick 33

"you ready?" gianna's voice rang out as she sat next to tee

he nodded

before the bengals had their pick tee's phone rang 513 being the area code of the phone number

"answer it" tee's mom said nodding towards his phone

"hello" tee picked up

"tee what's up man this is coach taylor with the bengals"

gianna held a shocked look on her face as her own dad didn't even tell her what his plans were

"what's up coach"

"we're going to turn in the card with your name on it, you ready to roll?"

"yessir"

"good man we're fired up we're ready for you to come in here and make an immediate impact"

"i'm ready to work man" 
they said their goodbyes

tees mom had tears in her eyes

"mama don't cry" tee said

"my baby is going to the NFL" she cried leaning over and hugging him

"you deserve this tee" gianna pitched in

he looked over at her and smiled

"i can't believe my own dad didn't tell me about this either" she laughed

"okay let's get this started" the guy on the tv stated

"with the 33rd pick in the 2020 draft the Cincinnati bengals select TEE HIGGINS wide receiver Clemson"
