It has been 5 years since the last time y/n and Bakugou had met. Y/ns big brother had been declared as the leader of the kingdom. Y/n not being of any use to the kingdom now roamed around the world discovering new places. She had improved much better with her sword and became the most skilled swords person.
Bakugou on the other hand was preparing for his his throne. He will now be crowned as the king of the dragons. He had sent invitation to everyone to come see him as the king but he struggled somewhere. He was in his house on his desk. Crumbled paper everywhere and ink dripped across the desk. He kept scratching off what he wrote in the letter, too nervous as to how y/n will react to it. Yes, he has yet to give y/n the letter as he thought the letter had to be extravagant just for y/n.
The door of his little house opened to reveal his father with a small yet gentle smile on his face. Only his dad knew about his crush on y/n. He had asked him to confess on the day of Todoroki's wedding but Bakugou refused saying he would never want to confess on the land of someone he hates. Masaru came up to Bakugou and pat his back. "Bakugou come and handle the things of the kingdom as well. I get it that you are in love but at least don't forget to eat your meals." Masaru said patting his back gently. Bakugou shoved his head in palms sighing loudly. The only person he could handle was his dad. He trusted him with everything.
Bakugou got up and wore his cloak and signalled his dad to come and follow him. They both were walking around the town going towards the place his mother had prepared lunch for him. They walked into the same big house, and headed for the dining room. As he entered he saw a familliar h/c h/l hair on a chair that faced him. He could not see the face as the chair was facing his back. He slowly went up to her and looked at her face.
His eyes glistened in shock but happiness after see y/n.
BAKUGOU POV
It was her she came back. I looked her in the eye shocked but happy. She looked at me with a smile. 'God that smile! ' I thought as she smiled up at me. "Hi Bakugou. How have you been?" She asked just like the time we first met. Her voice didn't change one bit. "I-I was fine. When the fuck did you get here?!." I asked in anticipation. "An hour ago. I met Kota and the others on the way here." She said calmly. "Then why didn't you fucking come to me first!" I shouted thought I wanted to stay gentle with her I was angry at her as she didn't come to me first. "Are you a child. It would be no surprise if I did that." She said no emotions like usual. I just huffed and left.
'It was not like she came to meet me specially. She doesn't even fucking care about me!' I thought as I sat near the pond. I threw the rock, but it sank in the water quickly. I was about through another one but heard my stomach grumble. I didn't eat since morning, and it was night now. I looked around searching for some berries but couldn't find any. I looked back towards the pond pouting as I did so. I blinked my eye, and she was in front of me. "You didn't eat since morning and now you choose to ignore your stomach?" She questioned. I looked at her with wide eyes. 'So quick. ln the blink of an eye.' I thought but soon dropped after I saw the distance between our faces.

She smiled softly at me. She then sat next to me, and I noticed the basket in her hands. She took out bowls and poured some food into it. She passed me the bowl with a spoon. I huffed and looked away not taking the bowl, but my stomach had to grumble just then. "Just have it. It's not a crime to eat you know." she said. My face was still red, but I didn't eat it still my ego taking over me.
Suddenly she took my face and forced the spoon filled with soup and chicken into my mouth. I was too slow to do anything, so I just grumbled and it. Of course, shitty girl was feeding me like when I was injured. We both soon finished our food and Shitty girl packed everything up. "Are you still mad at me? God you are just like a child." She said laughing slightly. I was shocked as she never smiled this much before. I looked at her wide eyed, "what?" she asked a smile still on her face. "You have been smiling way too much. Did something good happen or what?" I asked my voice a bit raspy. "Yep. You are going to become king that's what! And besides After roaming the world for 5 years I found out that staying all cold won't help me feel the world better." She said smiling crazy while looking at the flower field.
Comfortable silence fell over only the moving of wind could be heard. The pollen from the flowers moved from plant to plant causing a sweet scent to take over. While all of this happened, I stared at her peaceful form. They way her eyes scanned over the lake. The light from the moon shined upon her making her look like she fell from the gods. She slowly turned her head towards me, and our eyes met. The weird feeling, I felt five years ago that night came back again.
I decided it was time to tell her. It would be now or never. "Y/n" I called out not breaking the eye contact. She smiled at me and motioned for me to continue. "I don't know how, when or why it happened, but it happened to me. I thought it was just hormones five years ago, but I don't think so anymore. I know you probably don't think of me that way and its completely fine, I just need to get over this feeling." I took a deep breath before letting it out.
