AFFECTED

Chapter 2

Being too curious about my new school, U decided to go on a stroll around.
In less than thirty minutes,I was done exploring. I was returning to my class when I heard something bouncing. I turned around and saw nothing. All I could see were closed doors.
This school was totally different from Virginia High.
The sound was now very loud and clear. The noise was from a particular room. I entered the room and oh... I loved was I saw. It was the court room.
I closed to door and took a few steps forward into the room with the intention of trying a few shots into the basket.
Just then I saw a body lying at the far end of the court and my heart missed a beat.
Hello..." I moved followed. "Are you okay?"
There was no answer. As i moved closer, my body shivered.
What if something had happened to him or he was dead.
He wasnt moving and I froze all of a sudden. I knelt down beside him and realised he has got earpiece ib his ears.
He was breathing too...
His face was gently lying down on the floor. His black hair laid on his fore head enhancing his already beautiful face.
Just as I was about touching him, his eyes opened causing me to jump back on my feet.
"Hey.." was the only word that came out of my mouth.
How stupid of me, I thought.
"I'm truly sorry!" I begun "I didnt mean to...Ermm... I...I have no bad intentions okay. Trust me I came in here because I heard noises and I wanted to find out what was going and well I saw you lying here and then I thought something might have happened to you so I wanted to check up on you and....and..."
I realised I'd talked too much and I thought I heard him chuckle as he got on his feet.
He was only watching me closely. His apple red lips drawn up in a smile.
"You talk too much, you know." His smile widened. "Sorry if I scared you." He chuckled "Next time be careful were you poke your nose. Anyway I think you deserve it!"
What was he saying? What did I deserve?
"Ermmm....you are perfectly right! Got to be on my way now!" And I run out before he could say another word.
Mom was already waiting at tge parking lot wheb I got there. I sat in the passenger seat and she drove off.
"So...how was your first day?" She glanced at me.
"Good. I love the school." I said to cut everything short so she wouldnt ask any more questions about my first day.

I hadnt noticed when I fell asleep until I woke up. I had been sleeping for almost three hours already.
After a shower, I went to the dinning room to eat supper. Afterwards I did the dishes alone all by myself and went back to my room.
I couldnt sleep so I grabbed my laptop from my stay table and started reading a Wattpad story, The Arrogant Professor.

**Allan's POV***
I smiled to myself as I remembered to look on her face after what I said to her. U actually wasnt this mean but I wasnt in the mood either.
I hadnt been myself lately after seeing Roosevelt with that stupid dude, Misty, who chased everything in skirt!
I got devasted everytime I thougt of her..
Damn you scott!
I'd loved her since freshman year and everybody we would end up as a couple sameday but it didnt happen because she cheated on my with one of those low life guys in school.
