[SPOILERS AHEAD!]

"My name is Miguel O'Hara. I'm this dimension's one and only spider-man. At least I was. But I'm not like the others."

The tall man stood hunched on his platform with screens of files, video recordings, and footage of the hallways that were scattered around the building surrounding him. He specifically was focused on the group that was heading in his direction consisting of M/n, Hobie, Gwen, and Miles. His sharp eyes followed the teenage boy who had a smile on and was holding a white box.

"I don't always like what I have to do. But I know I have to be the one to do it. I've given up too much to stop now."

Miguel grabbed a small rectangular vial filled with green serum and placed it in a gun, bringing it to his shoulder and injecting himself with it. The liquid streamed into his blood at a fast pace like a spider bite injecting its venom. Chucking the gun on the table, he went back to working while he waited for the arrival of the reason he was stuck in this situation in the first place.

A door opened which was the entrance to Miguel's office and Gwen walked forward followed by M/n and a curious Miles who gawked at the lab like a puppy.

Hobie went to a wall and ripped a small piece off, showcasing it to Miles proudly. "Bet this doesn't even do anything." Walking around him while M/n gave him a disapproving look.

"Maybe it did before you ripped it out of a wall." Miles whispered counter-intuitively forcing a laugh out of M/n.

"Propaganda, bro. They distract you from the truth." He argued but Miles found his words ridiculous, not seeing a point in destroying property.

"And what's that?"

"I ain't got Scooby-Doo, mate. Cause that's what they want." Yanking another thing off the shelf. At this point M/n was just pretending he wasn't seeing Hobie steal Miguel's stuff.

"Why you wanna be part of this lot?" Hobie suddenly asked the boy.

"To get a watch." Miles sighed like the answer was obvious.

"Make your own watch." Hobie shrugged.

"Hobie it's not that easy." M/n shook his head while Hobie continued to pester the boy. "Bet you—bet you got a nice set up, huh? Nice parents?" He leaned against a circle structure giving Miles a smirk.

"They're fine." Miles shot back and hugged the empanada box to his chest. "We..we got in a fight but they just want what's best for me." He explained while Hobie fell around it and held himself up.

He quickly sat on a chair and wheeled across the floor to put his feet up. "That's a bloody shame."

"Why?"

"Cause you're not ready for everybody else." Miles smacked Hobie's feet so he could walk through.

"Listen to me, bro. Whole point of being spider-man is your independence. Being your own boss, you don't need all this!"

"Then why are you here?" Miles accused and Hobie ripped off another part inspecting it. "Looking out for my drummer, that's all." Miles yanked it out of his hand and slapped it back on the bench.
