Haley Ann's father, Mr. Johnson, had just recently retired from the army. Little did any of the Johnsons know that life as they knew it was about to change. Approximately one mouth after the official retirement, Mr. Johnson still had not found a job. Income was slow and the Johnsons decided to move out of their home to save money. They moved into a one bedroom room at their church. They lived their for six months until finally Mr. Johnson got a job. This was a joyful time for the Johnsons... well most of them. Haley Ann had lived in the same town for four years, which was the longest she had ever been in one place. She had so many friends and she loved her teachers, and her school. However the job was TWO HOURS AWAY!! Haley Ann dreaded breaking the news but the moving day approached faster than she ever could have imagined. She broke it to her friends and in a matter of weeks she was saying her goodbyes. Then like a blink of an eye it happened... Her parents closed on a house, they packed up and moved. Leaving everything she knew and loved behind to start over again.
