Heather rolled her eyes at their antics, but nonetheless immediately switched apps to watch their interview on youtube. Clicking on the new video, she settled herself on the sofa and turned the volume up, ready to see what the group said about her. 

The interviewer cleared his throat in preparation for the next question. 

"So," he started, "most of the acts for this year's Eurovision have been announced. Have you listened to any of the songs you'll be competing against?" 

There was a moment of silence, the group looking at each other to decide who would answer the question. 

"Yeah, we have listened to quite a few of the songs" Kris answered. "They're all really good songs, we have a lot to compete against." Tha band laughed, agreeing that this year was quite a dificult one to compete in. 

"Do you guys have any favourites?" The interviewer asked, looking to someone else to answer.

"Oh definitely," it was Bojan that answered this time. "Käärijä is one of our favourites as a group, I heard he's one of the favourites to win actually." 

"Yeah," Kris said, "I don't know about the others, but I'm also a big fan of the UK act, Heather Sweetman?"  The whole group nodded, expressing their love of her song.

At the mention of her name, Heather sat up a little. They really liked her? 

She was so busy processing the fact they liked her song, she missed Kris nudging Bojan which caused him to blush slightly. 

Jure smiled, his eyes brightening at the mention of heather's song."Yes! We all love Heather's song, we can't wait to see her perform it. I know a few of us would like to meet her too.." 

This time, she did see the nudge Bojan recieved from Nace. Her brows furrowed, what did that mean? 

While she was confused, she didn't have time to think about it, her interview was in an hour and she needed to get ready. Heather put her phone down and ran her hand across her face, yawning as she stood up to prepare herself for the interview.

With five minutes to spare, Heather was sat in front of her laptop scrolling through her phone in the meeting room.

Putting her phone on silent, she threw her phone onto the chair next to her and made sure she looked okay in the webcam before joining the meeting. 

"Welcome Heather! It's so nice to finally be able to talk to you, are you having a good day?" The interviewer asked, jumping straight into the questions. 

"Hey! It's nice to meet you too. I've been good, I'm just sitting at my dining room table actually." Heather laughed, moving her laptop around to show her surroundings. 

"I've heard you're pretty nervous about competing this year, is that right?" She was asked. Heather nodded slightly, adjusting her webcam to be eye level once again. 

"Yeah. Super nervous actually. This year's competition has so many amazing acts that it will be difficult to compete against them. I think I'd be nervous either way though." She laughed again, feeling awkward since this was her first 'proper' interview. 

"Our friends Joker Out in Slovenia actually said the same thing." The interviewer laughed again. "Speaking of the Slovenian act, they mentioned you in their interview. Did you manage to see?" 

This time, Heather let out a loud laugh. "I did! I was so honoured to be mentioned by name by them. They are all really talented so to hear they liked my song.. well it was really nice actually. To know that people so talented liked my song was definitely an ego boost." 

She wasn't lying. Not only was she extremely nervous and self-conscious about her ability to perform on such a big level, the fact that these boys - who were all extremely talented - vouched for her and actually liked her song made her feel better.

The interview ended not long later, and she was told that her interview would be posted on youtube within the next few hours. Once again she was nervous. It was one thing being in an interview with one person who was pretty much paid to be nice to her, but once that interview was live everyone else's opinions would begin to flood the comment section. She just hoped she didn't seem too nervous.
