Emma's First Friend

Once upon a time long ago there was a beautiful princess born and her name was Emma. She had the blondest hair and brightest blue eyes. She was a very happy child, but as she grew up she became a lonely child.

One day Emma was out in the garden dancing around the roses and waterfall fountain when she suddenly heard crying from behind one of the rose bushes. Silently she followed the sound. Once she got to the rose bush Emma saw a small pink covered gnome with pigtails and a floppy fluffy hat.

"Why are you crying?" Emma asks quietly so she doesn't scare or disturb the crying gnome. The pink covered gnome stops crying and hiccups, "I fell and hurt my knee while smelling the roses." Emma kneels by the gnome as she looks in her dress pockets and finds a band-aid that she always keeps for emergencies.

" If you don't mind I can bandage your knee."

The gnome smiles and wipes her tears, "Yes please. I'm Tete."

Emma places the band-aid on Tete's knee, " Nice to meet you! I'm Emma."

Tete stands up and so does Emma before they both start giggling. "Do you wanna dance around the roses with me?" Tete claps her hands and nods yes and that was how princess Emma met her very first friend. All you need is kindness and a band-aid for emergencies.
