"Bhai, I love you." Zayan said, hugging the life out of him.

"Yeah! I know your selfish love." Adil said, pushing him away while trying to hide the twitching smile on his lips. He had wasted so many years of his life resenting his brother in jealousy.

"Bhai, say whatever you wanna say. I won't mind." He said showing Adil his full set of teeth.

Adil laughed whilst smacking his back.

"I will remember that." He said and went away.

Zayan didn't know why his brother always fought with him but he knew he wasn't a bad person. He knew he cared for him and his recent act had proven that even though he didn't show it but he loved his brother a lot.

Nawal was shocked to hear that Adil agreed for the rukhsati. She didn't want the rukhsati but Samar's face held her back. She couldn't be the reason behind her broken up relation.

Nobody has asked her anything, they were busy preparing for her rukhsati ceremony.

Sometimes, Aqsa would come and drag her for shopping. Adil would accompany them. She was way too surprised to witness happy and chilled Adil... in her presence.

She nearly fainted when he complimented her when she was trying some jewelleries.

"What happened to him?" She racked her head but couldn't come up with any idea as to why he was behaving so strangely.

"Hello, Zayan....." She dialled Zayan's number to know the cause of Adil's changed version as soon as she came home after shopping.

"Hello dear bhabhi!" He exclaimed.

She grimaced but said nothing.

"Is there something special you remembered me for?" He chirped. He had been high on something since his engagement was fixed.

"Zayan, I need to know something." She said after taking a few deep breaths.

"I'm all ears."

She rolled her eyes at his antics.

"My absence has made both the brothers go crazy." She thought.

"Nothing." She said and cut the call.

"I shouldn't ask him anything. These days he is a full Adil devotee. What if he tells him that I interrogated about him." She soliloquized and went towards the washroom to freshen up.

She decided to leave everything on time. With time she would find herself the cause of Adil's changed form.

Adil was skeptical about the whole fiasco of the rukhsati ceremony. He had been hearing it from his mother every once in a while that Uzma wanted to do the rukhsati soon.

He did miss her but still he didn't know if he wanted her in his life as a wife. These thoughts kept him restless and awake late night and one similar night he marched towards her room. He didn't know why he came there... it was unintentional.

He stood in front of a wall she had decorated with pictures from every family trip they went. He smiled going through each picture...... reminiscing the memories.

Whilst strolling in her room..... he forgot his tension for a while.

He was returning back when he stumbled on the chair before her study table and ended up messing her arranged books.

He was rearranging them when a cute diary caught his eyes.

Helpless with curiosity, he ended up turning it's pages and his eyes widened whilst reading the secret she had been hiding from everyone.... even him, carrying a facade. He pursed his lips.
