On a Thursday night, You handed your mother a paper. It was for a field trip on Monday, Your english class was going to a museum, dinners, parks, and staying at a hotel. The drive was two hours away, You hoped your mom would let you go.
"Please, please, please mom!" You begged.
"I'll think about it and tell your in the morning. Go get ready for bed," Your mother told you.
You sighed and walked upstairs, feeling annoyed. Once you entered your room, you got into your bed and stared at the ceiling before letting sleep consume you.

Your mother opened her door the next morning, placing the field trip paper on your desk. After, she woke you up, telling you it was time to get ready for school.
When you got up, you noticed the paper. You picked it up and immediately smiled at your mom's signature on the 'parent signature' line.
You got ready for school and walked downstairs, hugging your mom.
"Thanks mom." You smiled.

Your mother dropped you off at school, You walked in the school and almost bumped into someone. It was Sam, Sam Zablowski.
He stuttered, trying to say sorry to you.
"It's fine," You laughed slightly and put a hand on his shoulder. Sam looked at you, smiling.
Y'all both talked for a minute before the bell rang. You walked into English and gave the permission slip to your teacher then walked to sit beside your best friend, Dustin.
