The beginning

The world is as strange as it was from the beginning.

Always talk about peace with a red hand hidden beneath their sleeves...

They talk about sacrificial stuff behind all of this modernism, but do they genuinely sacrifice as it means?

We had no idea when we would die.

But we know for certain... Today is a gift to all of us...

Using the past as a book, to walk on the carpet of the future.

Tup...

"That concludes our class for the day... Remember to return home immediately after this class... You don't want this to be your last day due of the kidnapping. " Ms. Georgia said as she closed the English lesson book.

"Okay, Ms. Georgia... Thank you for your lessons today." The pupils stood up from their long digital chairs.

"Oh yes... Also, don't forget about your assignments... The deadline is tomorrow, so please have those two projects on my desk by tomorrow evening, ok, class?"

"Okay, Ms..."

Ms. Georgia went out of the room, followed by the other students' feet...

While I was preparing myself, I overheard diverse chats from all sides...

Luxurious items, a new brand, recent well-known films, a celebrity crush, or something else?

Well, I consider myself an introverted guy, thus I rarely join groups.

As i walked myself out of the school,
i met two of my best buddies.
Except for these two, I had no other buddies.

"Pedro, you're late.." stated one of the guys, William.

"Bruhhh..., we just got here." Lilith shook her head.

"So... what are we up to here?"

"Well, nothing at all... We had no work to do. So we came... Of course, I'm looking for work." Lilith said while placing her hands on William's head.

"Lith, you know how many classes we take, and each of them assigned us a project to-"William suddenly fell silent.

" Hahaha, maybe you mean that we've done it, right? " William responded by nodding silently.

"Are you free now?" "This time or this night?"

"Both? "

"You do realize I'm not free, don't you?" I took out my digital kneeted hat from the backpack and handed it to William.

"That's for your order, remember to pay the check, okay?" I turned back and went away with our goodbye greeting.

"Yoi.... So.... I guess our plan didn't worked, Lith.."
Nb: Yoi = You're right/correct/yup

"You know you misspelled it... It should be doesn't, not didn't... For the time being..."

"But... "

"Sshhtt.. We don't know when we'll part ways, but as long as we're together, we must make wonderful memories, especially because it's his birthday, right?"

"I suppose you're right, Lith, but he's insensitive; how are we going to celebrate him?"

Lilith took a silent moment,
And after a couple of hours,
7 p.m., they were in Pedro's dorm..

"Are you sure this is going to work?" William asked.

"Simple celebrations are the best moments and are low budget, so...... This is our last backup for celebration."

Kriettt......

The sound of a door opening echoed around the room, allowing them to let go of the shudder down their spine...

"I had no idea this would suddenly scare me." Lilith didn't respond to William...

Then there was a 123 surprise look from Lilith, and then....

"Happy birthday, Pedro!!" Pedro jumped and stood like a frozen stone, shocked.

While Lilith took the cake box and lighten the candles, william gave a quick quote...

"We wish you a happy birthday, man... We don't know when we'll part ways, but as long as we're together, we'll do our best to cherish every moment we spend together."

"William, nice quote... When did you come up with the quote idea?" Lilith asked as she turned the cake towards pedro..

"Recently, when I was terrified beneath that bed... " William's laughter was heightened.

"Thank you very much... So, may I light these candles to make my wishes come true? or,Is there still time for a bonus quote?"

"You really know how to crack a joke, dude..." Everyone chuckled as the candle brightened the mood.

"You may, Pedro... Haha..."

"Say it, for an infinite number of wishes..."

Pedro paused, his lips going up and down, murmuring for a minute over the gorgeous candles on the cake. 'I'm hoping we can see the moon...' I wish our relationship could continue forever...'

Finally, Pedro blew out the light, where the air and flames danced together beneath the magnificent night...

"Man, I really want to see the moon...If only there is no light pollution in the city.."I grabbed a drink bottle and sat on the balcony.

Lilith and William nodded and took seats next to me.

"I really envy both of you..."

"Why, man...because we were childhood pals?"

“HAHA…You knew it...I wish I had a childhood friend..."

"You know, man, you've got a lot of random topics with you.."

"Oh, yes..That probably represents me better.."We all laughed that night,

when the honking automobiles below were noisy,

the traffic lights with disregarded signs,

the people swarming with their hectic schedule job,
decorated our cheerful fun night.
