Background: Lupin III was falsely accused of murdering Sonic the Hedgehog, along with several other heinous crimes committed by his evil alternate self, Nemesis Lupin IIIRD. To clear his name and bring those responsible to justice, Lupin becomes a vigilante known as Lupine Ranger Blue. He allies himself with various characters from Sonic's world, while also crossing over into other dimensions, such as the Universal Century from Mobile Suit Gundam. Along the way, Lupin unlocks the power of Geass, allowing him to control others against their free will, and gains the support of a harem that includes characters such as Amy Rose, Rouge the Bat, Sally Acorn, Tangle the Lemur, and Whisper the Wolf.
As Lupine Ranger Blue, Lupin pilots the powerful mobile suit MSG-008 Epsilon, while his allies control their own mechas to assist him in battle. United under the banner of Londo Bell, they take on various foes, including the villainous Nemesis Lupin IIIRD and his twisted creations, the chaos monsters.
Though some characters such as Tails and the Chaotix refuse to trust him, Lupin continues to fight for justice and to clear his name. In doing so, he also hopes to uncover the dark secrets of his past, find true love, and bring peace to his world once and for all.
