𝐓𝐇𝐈𝐑𝐃 𝐏𝐀𝐑𝐓

"What's wrong? Scared..?"

He panted roughly, standing in a firm stance while holding his blade out.He got a glare in response

He couldn't feel his body, it was like he was being controlled.He stopped breathing through his nose after almost inhaling the toxic air that came from the demon's blood demon art

Akaza looked to his side,Kanao was lying limp.Her condition was getting bad every second,blood seeping through her clothes and falling to the ground

Douma laughed teasingly, enjoying the hilarious sight in front of him.Akaza was stubborn, very stubborn. Douma tried to get the honey eyed male to his side but the hashira was far too stubborn

Now he had to pay for the consequences, that was the terrifying sight of Kanao who looked like she was almost reaching her end but Akaza stayed in his righteous mind.Not daring to go to the demon's grasp

He finally built the courage, charging forward to the blond under a second.Swinging his Katana and slashing off the demon's torso, he went back to Kanao

Deciding to take a look at the butterfly sibling, taking his time while the demon was regenerating

"Now that was quite rude wasn't it?"

Akaza looked at him with a fierce look, he looked like he was ready to launch at him and kill him at the spot. Rage was taking over him but suddenly

"AKAZA-SAN!"

The said name looked at the direction where he heard the voice, his eyes widened after seeing that Kamado guy along with his friends who was running towards the battle field

"NO! GET BACK! DON'T COME H-"

"hm? How lovely! You brought your friends, Akaza-dono~ But..i don't intent on eating some males right now! So I guess you can just..."

Akaza looked confused then Douma went to the running boy, his war fans slashing the red head's back

"TANJIRO! STOP IT YOU BASTARD!"

"Why should I? Akaza-dono...didnt you see that they interrupted our conversation? They should pay for it!"

Akaza signalled Tanjiro's to get Kanao and retreat, deciding that he should take care of the demon and Tanjiro

"Akaza-dono! What are you doing? Shouldn't you be on my side?"

"..."

"Akaza-san! I'm alright!"

This caught the demon's attention as he was too focused on his beloved human.Quickly beheading the male slayer,Akaza looked at the traumatic sight in front of him

Another slayer was killed because of his stupid actions

All he saw was red, this blond demon was getting on his nerves.Killing his co-workers and fellow slayers

But he knew he couldn't do anything as this certain demon was the second to highest in the ranks and Akaza was no match for that

Running away was a great option but he wouldn't be able to because Douma would eventually catch up to him.So he decided to fight once more, even with a bad condition

The demon smirked  in amusement, wanting to see more of Akaza's suprises

"Fight me,Demon"

"AKAZA!"

Akaza sat straight, panting uncontrollably, sweating with a terrified look

"What's wrong, Akaza? You suddenly passed out infront of Tanjiro"

Where even was he?

Akaza took a look at the person talking and figured it was Aoi, what is she doing here?

"What...? Wasn't I in a fight with uppermoon two?"

Aoi looked at Akaza with pure confusion on her face, clearly not understanding the situation

"What do you mean? You were here the whole time!"

Akaza looked dumbfounded at her reply, was he dreaming these whole time?

"Where is Kanao? And Kamado?"

"Tanjiro is on a mission, Kanao is also too.You should stay for a bit, you look terrified"

"Y-yeah about that...i was dreaming about something"

"What was your dream about?"

"I would rather not to say it"

Aoi nodded in response and left the medical room

"This demon is freaking me out..."
