Earlier today a incident happened at Alton Towers, 2 carts collided into eachother on the 14 loop rollercoaster 'The Smiler'. One cart had no passengers and the other had 16, the cart with no passengers had broken down due to technical issues that the ride had been experiencing all day and the full cart smashed into it- the floor buckling and trapping people. 4 people have been seriously injured and the other 12 minor cases, there are rumors that one of the seriously injured passengers has died but that is not confirmed. My wishes are with the family and friends of the people on Smiler at around 2pm today.
