Benny's pov.
Well this is not how I had seen my night turning out like, hanging from a window with one of the hottest boys in school telling me not to worry because he will catch me if something happens. Yeah, I did not see this coming one bit.
''Come on Benny, just jump. You where gonna do it before I came rushing in, right?'' Ash tried to reson with me and yes it kind of made sense because it was kind of true but still, it had been a terrible idea to try to jump from this hight and distance.
''Wait a minute!?'' Just as Ash had put his arms out to get into the catching me pose a thought had hit me, and a genius one at that. ''Why do I have to jump too? You could just get back in and open the door for me.'' I tried to shrug my shoulders when done talking but by doing that my grip on the edge I was holding on to loosened. Bad idea.
As I looked down on the overly handsome boy sideways below me he had this thoughtful expression for a bit before his face lighted up like a lightbulb as in the cartoons you watch as a kid.
''You're right, I will be right back then.'' and so he left me hanging from a window on the second story of the house with just very hard looking grass to soften my fall if I, you know would fall down and probably break my neck or legs or any other bone in my body and I think my bones are very important.
After a couple of minutes of just hanging there with my arms just getting more and more tired and instead of just waiting there for someone that probably wasn't coming for me I decided to try to help myself. Bad idea I know, my ideas just aren't that good like ever. But I did try to help myself my pulling myself up and in to the bathroom again, I didn't really get that far before I could feel my hands start to slipp and my grip loosen. And let me tell you the panic that followed can not really be described.
I froze as my blood ran cold and my insides felt hollow but also burning at the same time. There was only one thought that ran through my mind on repeat. 'Am I really gonna die like this?!'
Apparently not because without me having noticed someone had run into the flashy bathroom, grabbed my by my upper arms and pulled me onto the floor and was now trying to bring me down from my almost panic attack, or was it a real panic attack. I don't know, all I know is that it was hard to breath and move my body.
''You okey there blondie?'' I heard the voice of my savior behind me. Wait I know that voice, Ash!
''And here I thought you weren't gonna come back.'' I answered to my own surprise, wow growing some overies there girl?
''I said I would come back didn't I? I'm a man of my word.'' he answered me and I couldn't help but laugh a little. ''Why are you laughing, you almost just died woman!'' he said but started to laugh too along with me.
After laughing for a good while and almost out of breath it became very awkward, you know just standing there all silent not knowing what to say so there we stood for a good while also until I realized we were still in the damn bathroom.
''Shit, we need to get out before we get locked in again.'' I actually ran out the door and could hear Ash laughing while he calmly strolled out and closed the door behind him. ''So...'' I started not knowing what was gonna happen now.
''So...'' he mimicked me.
''I should go check on my friends, to see that they're doing okey and are not to drunk.'' I started to walk backwards slowly, gesturing with my hands behind me.
''Okey then, let's go.'' he said, took my hand and started to pull me downstairs with him.
Wait what? What does he mean let's go?!
''You coming with me? Don't you have friends here to get drunk with or something?'' Not that I don't like having him around, he's really hot but why does he wanna be around me?
''Well my ex is with my friends because she is looking for me and I'm avoiding her so I will be avoiding her with you, that okey with you? Good.'' Ash said as we landed on the bottom floor but he almost had to shout it because of the loud music and all the dancing drunk teens.
You just gotta love house parties, right?
''Yeah... okey then.'' how could I say no right now? I didn't know were my friends where and who better to navigate me through a high school house party than someone that went to them regularly. And I kind of owed him for saving my life so helping him hide from his super hot ex-girlfriend was the least I could to, right? Not that I would be helping much by letting him just hang around me for the night. ''So we're looking for two girls, one of them with short bright red and curly hair and the other with long black straight hair. They're twins by the way but doesn't look it. Got it.'' I finish with a clap and turn to him.
Ash is looking a me with wide eyes and mouth open, why I don't know.
''What is it?'' I ask loudly over the music.
''You have to be joking, there is a little bit of over one hundred people here. How are we suppose to find them?'' He asks me with a, how do I put his expression? Worried face? I don't know but he looks like he's thinking that I must be crazy to think that we will actually find them, but he should have already thought I was crazy a couple of times this night so it doesn't really bother me.
''Oh but we will, trust me. I know my friends.''
*****
Finally here is the fourth chapter, I am so sorry for the wait. But school have started again which mean I'm gonna need a distraction so a lot more writing will probably be done.
