A Disappointment they say,
Ever since I opened my eyes they say,
Wanted a boy, wasn't one,
Wanted a white child, didn't get one,
Sorry to disappointWanted a smart, intelligent child,
Got a creative, talented one instead,
DisappointedWanted a socializing child
Not a quite one,
Wanted a 'normal child'
Didn't get one,
Wanted a perfect child,
Wasn't one,
Sorry to disappointTold me to stay away from men,
So I went for women
Disappointed,
Wishing I was normal,
But I'm notWishing I was someone else,
But I'm not,
Told a thousand times I cannot be my sibling,
But God forbids you to listen,
Told a thousand times I cannot be who you want,
But God forbids you to be anything but
disappointedSo here I say again..
Sorry to disappoint,
Wishing I didn't stand up for myself..
But I didWaste of your money on a
Disappointment,
Sorry to disappointCouldn't be the perfect child
You wanted me to be,
Maybe I am a disappointment,
Ever since I opened my eyes,
And I will be,
Till I fade away
From your eyes,
Sorry to be a
disappointment-A.N.F
