Chiaki shook her head.

Chiaki: "You're probably just caught in the moment, Rento."

Rento: "I disagree."

Chiaki: "How can you say so?"

Rento: "I'm serious, Chiaki. That's why I always kept looking out for you."

Chiaki: "Well, if you're telling the truth or not. I don't think I am ready to process everything right now. Will you give me a couple days?"

Rento: He smiled. "That sounds better than a rejection. I can wait for you."

Chiaki: "Thank you." she smiled back at him.

Rento: "Well don't think about it too much. I don't expect any form of reciprocation. I know you still like my brother, but that's not a problem to me."

Chiaki: "You've changed alot, compared to when we were kids." she chuckled.

Rento: "Chia, we're not gonna stay as kids." he pat her head.

Chiaki: "I don't know, I still see you as a kid. Even if you're all matured, that's why everything you told me recently is a shock to me."

Rento: "Well I wouldn't say I still see you as the crybaby Chiaki that we knew before." he laughed.

Chiaki: "Hey! I'm not a crybaby!"

Rento: "Oh yes you are."

Chiaki: "Hmp! Don't talk to me."

Rento: "Is that so? I was just planning to get you some dango." he teased.

Chiaki: "Dango?! Where?"

Rento: "You said not to talk to you right?" he faced the other way and started walking.

Chiaki: "Hey! Wait up!" she followed him.

~Meanwhile Ren and Kosuke~

Kosuke was preparing himself for some training before the final match tomorrow.

Ren: "Hey!" she called.

Kosuke: "Ah hi there, Suzuki." he smiled

Ren: "Final match for the season is coming. Are you nervous?" she smiled.

Kosuke: "Well, we've always been here since then. But maybe yes, a bit." he replied.

Ren: "I like that lowkey confidence." she laughed.

Kosuke: "Well I do have confidence in my team. This would be my last year here too so I wanna make the most out of it." he smiled.

Ren: "I know you'll get another championship." she tapped Kosuke's back.

Kosuke: "I can't promise that. The opposing teams change every season, only this team remained the same." he scratched his head.

Ren: "Oh come on now, I have big trust in you, and the whole team." she looked at him in the eye.

Kosuke: He stared back at her. "That's... Such good affirmation, Suzuki. I appreciate that." he shook his head and cleared his throat. "Sorry about that."

Ren: She laughed. "No need to apologize. Anyway, goodluck with your practice. I made lunch for the two of us so text me when you're done. Okay?"

Kosuke: "Ah- really? Okay I will." he smiled at her.

Ren: "See you later!" she waved and headed out of the field.
