When I looked up, I realized his mint blue eyes which sent chills down my spine. I quickly looked at him up and down without getting caught. He had a fair complexion and chestnut brown curly hair. He looked like a professional male model. "So," my thoughts were interrupted by his slightly deep voice, "can I sit here?" I nodded giving him permission to do what he asked. "Thanks, I'm new here. I see you're reading some Shakespeare, I just love his plays," he said, while picking up a fry. "Well, that was a total surprise, a hot guy like that likes Shakespeare," I thought in my head and then he smirked. In that moment, I realized I said that out loud. My cheeks were extremely red with embarrassment as I tried to hide in my book.
"Look, I could leave if you feel shy or anything," he said as he got up to leave. "No, you should stay!" I yelled, maybe a little too loud because Bella was heading my way with some of the cheerleaders. Panic took over my entire body as she got closer but what was interesting, instead of leaving, the boy (whose name I didn't get) sat back down. "Hey clumsy clown, what's up?" she asked, sitting on the table I was at. "Can you just leave me alone please?" I mumbled. "What did you say, princess clueless?" she asked with an evil look in her eye. "She said leave her alone," the guy next to me said firmly. I looked at him like he was my hero. Bella looked at him and said," who are you, hottie, you must be new so keep your mouth out of other people's business, okay." Then she walked away with her squad.
"Umm, thanks for defending me and I m sorry for any trouble I caused," I quietly murmured," my name is Annalise." He looked at me and smiled. "My name is Cameron and I'm from Illinois, umm I'll see you around and you don't have to apologize for anything." I looked at him as he walked away. The whole time Bella just kept looking at me but what does she have against me? Anyway, somehow I got through the rest of my afternoon classes. Today wasn't as bad as my other days. Jamie came over and I told her what happened today in the cafeteria and she just hated Bella so much that she was going to TP her house but I got her to change her mind. It was hilarious actually, anyway, tomorrow is Friday and hopefully I can get through it easily. Later!
