chap.4 ~Grace~

Seth's prov.

10am.Walking down the street with a cigarette held lightly in-between two fingers, I head towards 'Digital  Essence.' I've been needing some new camera equipment for a while now but just never had enough free time to go to town.

As I take my last drag from my cigarette then pursue to stomp it out, I walk inside Digital Essence, and began to look around for my item(s).

I settled for a Logitech Webcam C930e web camera, for just under $90.

As the cashier put the camera box in a bag for me, The bell for the shop suddenly rung. I didn't even bother turning my head to get a glimpse of who it was.

I was walking across the aisles to get to the shop door, when I accidentally tripped over the corner of a table and fell, taking someone down with me on the way.

I hit the ground, landing on my stomach and chest, while the stranger fell on top of me, making me smack the ground for the second time.

The stranger quickly stood up and offered me a hand, gladly taking it, they helped me up. " Are you alright?" I asked while brushing my off all the dirt from the floor now on my body. " Yeah, I'm fine. You did break my fall after all haha" she said with a small smile plastered on her face.

" I'm glad your alright hah, sorry by the way, I tripped on that table and..Yeah." I said with an apologetic smile.  She kept re-assuring me it was alright. "My names grace" she held her hand out for the second time today. I took her hand, shaking it gently. "Seth" I replied. "Care to take a walk?" I offered. Grace nodded her head, then me and her walked out of the store, hearing that bell hanging above the door ring once again.

Grace and I walked around the city for almost  4 hours as it was 15 to ,two, When I got a phone call from Sam. " Hey, What's up Sam?" I answered. " You should really come home.. Lena & Aspin are about to tare the house apart, ben set something on fire in his room, so the house is full of smoke, and Zannon stole every blanket and pillow from everyone's room and built a huge fort in his room, Refusing to give anything back." Sam Stated. Giving an annoyed sigh I responded, " Be home in 10" Then hung up.

"Well I guess, either we end our day here, or you come meet the 'family' I said with a small hesitant laugh, hoping to god that, that didn't sound creepy. "Well then I guess, we better get going to your house then shall we?" she said with a smirk. With no hesitation, I started walking fast back to home, with Grace walking even faster, trying to keep up with me.

As we entered the garage, I could already smell the smoke.

 I opened the main door, and the smoke seemed to just crawl out of the house, down the 2 steps and onto the garage floor. Hm.

I could hear Lena and Aspin arguing about god knows what, and it was already giving me a headache. Great. I rushed inside, but turned around to see Grace begin to slowly walk inside all the chaos. "DONT COME INSIDE YET" I yelled but not angrily. grabbing her shoulders I carefully walked her down the steps and back into the garage. "just stay here for a few moments please?" I pleaded. Luck for me, she obliged.  

I ran back into the house, opening all the windows and screen doors, trying to air out the house on both levels. I even fell down the spiral stair case twice but that thing is a death trap anyways. 

Next I stomped out what ever was on fire in Bens room, then ran BACK upstairs and separated Lena and Aspin. Which was hard because they were already gator wrestling on the kitchen floor. And through out all this, Sam stood outside in the garage talking to Grace about him and his boyfriend, and their 'crazy' ass party the other night.

"well glad you made a good first impression, family. Thanks." I mumbled.

Then I remembered about Zannon in the basement with everyone's blankets and pillows. I obnoxiously groaned and marched BACK downstairs.
