"are you feeling cold jakey?" heeseung asked softly noticing how the younger was shivering.

"no I'm not!" jake huffed while crossing his hands and looking away trying his best to keep a angry face on heeseung and not falling for his sweet words.

well apparently an hour ago they were in a arcade which was located inside a mall, it was quite noisy their but the two didn't mind it and started playing. until, heeseung felt the urge to tease jake to an extent with his constant tickling and whispering in the youngers ears, while playing one of the arcade games and it distracted jake alot. and unfortunately he lost against heeseung. and that's when jake became all sulky, heeseung couldn't help but laugh at his pouty face it was just so cute to handle.

if their relationship could be stated in a sentence it would be,
'more than friends less than lovers'
both of them met each other through their friends 1 year ago and they got along quickly. they started hanging out more often than they did with their other friends. and infact both of them have their own completely different types of playful sides, heeseung loves teasing jake, and jake loves annoying heeseung.

tho with them it's not always about fun & friendship, sometimes it's about emotions & feelings, which they show each other affectionately. in their darkest times they had always stayed back for each other nevertheless.

slowly those 'just' friendly feelings turned out to be more than that. they both themselves knew how they felt for the other but were to afraid to express it.

after stepping out of the arcade room they just simply decided to walk down the cold streets. it was getting dark but they didn't wanted to go home, they just enjoyed each other's warmth so much.

jake was still trying to be angry on heeseung because of the previous incident in the arcade. heeseung being heeseung was plastering sweet words to him so that the latter would forgive him.

"you know? sunoo told me that in kdrama's when the female lead is pissed off on the male lead," heeseung started, "he tries his best to make up with her with sweet words and ofcourse a sorry, but I'm guessing that's definitely not working on you. i need to try something new!" he completed his sentence with a smirk knowing exactly what his next move was gonna be.

jake side-eyed him and said "nothing's gonna work on me sweetie, go try shit on someone els-" he couldn't complete his sentence due to heeseung giving him a quick peck on the cheeks, he knew exactly how much jake likes it.

yup jaeyun was now a blushing mess, he couldn't be sulky anymore, he just couldn't look straight into heeseung's eyes because he didn't wanted the older to see how red he was.

heeseung slowly lifted his chin up "you're..extremely red-"

"shut up." jake managed to speak up trying to control his smile.
