Steven Universe: Chipped [Pearl x OC]

Chapter 1-2: Laser Light Cannon

Soon after Steven and Amethyst headed into town for snacks, a Red Eye appeared in the sky.

Garnet says, "This is bad."

I say, "Is that what I think it is? They really sent one to Earth?"

Pearl adds, "Look at the size of it. I had no idea these things were so big!"

Amethyst runs toward us, carrying Steven as she exclaims, "Garnet! Pearl! Citrine!"

Pearl responds, "We saw. Some of us are trying to protect humanity. Where were you?"

Amethyst sets Steven down and responds, "Eating fry bits."

I say, "Ooh, got any for me?" Amethyst hands me a bag of fry bits, and I say, "Sweet, thanks!"

Pearl groans as I start eating.

Steven asks, "Ooh, can I see?"

He peers through the telescope as the Red Eye opens, revealing a pupil.

Steven exclaims, "Woah. It's a giant eyeball! Awesome!"

Pearl exclaims, "Not awesome, it's a Red Eye!"

Steven exclaims, "A red eye?! It's going to infect us all!"

Garnet corrects, "That's pink eye, Steven."

Amethyst laughs as Pearl explains, "It's going to crash into Beach City and crush us along with a bunch of oblivious, innocent people!"

I add, "It's size and magnetism sucks things towards it, causing even more damage!"

Pearl adds, "We have to stop it."

Steven asks, "What are we going to do?"

Garnet adjusts her visor as she responds, "The only thing powerful enough to destroy it is a Laser Cannon that belonged to Rose Quartz."

Steven asks, "My mom?"

I nod, responding, "Rose was one of the most powerful gems I've ever seen."

Amethyst groans, "If Rose were here, this would be so easy."

Pearl says, "I know, but she's not, and the Cannon is missing. We'll find another solution."

Steven says, "If it belonged to my mom, I bet my dad knows where it is. He can help us save the day!"

We stand in silence for a few seconds before Pearl says, "Greg is... nice, Steven, but I doubt Rose would entrust someone like him with such a powerful weapon."

Amethyst adds, "Your dad is kind of a mess, Steven."

Pearl exclaims, "Amethyst!"

I say, "She's not wrong though, is she?"

Pearl crosses her arms in response.

Amethyst continues, "I'm just saying, even if she did leave it with him, he probably broke it, or lost it, or dropped it in the ocean by now."

I nod as Garnet says, "True."

Steven refutes, "No way. I'm sure he's just keeping it somewhere safe. I'll go ask him."

Garnet says, "We can handle this, Steven." She then looks at Amethyst and I, asking, "Ready?"

We both nod. Garnet picks up Amethyst and keaps into the air, tossing her at the Red Eye. Amethyst just hits it with no impact at all and falls into the ocean.

We look at it dumbfounded as Steven says, "Uh... I'm gonna go."

Pearl responds, "Okay, good luck."

As he leaves, I say, "Garnet, toss me now."
