The great sage was eating his peaches peacefully while he listened to small chirping of his companions.
But
He could remember everything. A small young cub would run around climbing and hang off his tail.. Sometimes even playing with his people when he needed to do something.
He could hear his child... But those were just memories.

SUN WUKONG POV

"Hey Bud-!!" My voice sounded slightly sluggish. It was easy to tell. Considering I haven't slept for a long while. Mk's on the other hand-
"HI MONKEY KING!!!"
Was filled with cheer and excitement..
"Haha- Alright kid. Why did ya summon me?"
"Well~! I was wanting all of us to eat some Noodles together and talk-!!"
I looked around seeing Mk's usual group of friends.
Tang, Pigsy, Mei, And Sandy. I didn't mind but there's moments that Mk forgets a certain factor about me.
I have stage fright and Social anxiety.
No offense to the kid of course.
Not everyone would think that the Sun Wukong would have stage fright. It was just weird to think considering he's known as THE GREAT SAGE.
"..I don't know bud. I'm a pretty busy King."
"Please Monkey King!! It's been awhile since you hanged out with all of us!"

That's because I know I should be at home crying. Not here making memories with you.

"Maybe another time." My voice sounded breakable. It cracked lightly while I own tail stiffen from my thought. Hell I could even feel my fur puff out in defense. I just wanted to go home. That's all I wanted.

"Oh..okay but can you at least stay here for some tea? Sandy made peach flavored-!"
Anddddd there's the one weakness. Peaches. I adored anything peach flavored but it's not like I would eat peach things all the time. I just prefer it.
"....Fine but only if it's cold."
"Deal!!"

That didn't last long.

Some lower class demons decided to wreck the groups afternoon by causing Havoc. This didn't surprise them but it annoyed Wukong knowing he'd have to 'try' and help. Don't get the poor simian wrong-! He enjoyed helping them it was just a pain to keep his strength in check.

"ONE NORMAL DAY. THATS ALL WE ASK YOU LOW CLASS DEMONIC IDIOTS."
Wukong couldn't help but let his anger beat him. They kept running around the group causing small problems to attack without hurting anyone.

It was getting annoying.

"Aw~ is the monkey king weak to defeat some lil old demons like usss?" Their voice was filled with venom as they spoke to the Simian. It sunk into his head and infected his brain. Just what the demon wanted.

"THATS. IT." Wukong took the staff from Mk and had ran at one of the two demons kicking them down into the ground leaving cracks in the street. He could hear Mk protesting and Pigsy yelling at him for being a bad influence but at this point all that Wukong saw was red. He hated being seen as weak. He vowed to himself that it would never happen again.

Never again. Not after him.

"All I wanted was peaceful evening. But you FUCKS had to ruin that. Let's see just how weak and pathetic you are." Wukong slowly lifted the staff above a squirming and fearful demon. His fangs look sharper as the staff lifted above the others heart. It felt familiar.

So...Familiar.

"SHI HOU PLEA- AAHHHHHHHH-"

He snapped out of his anger and saw a sobbing demon apologizing for their life. They were crying. Actually crying.

'Why are they crying-!? THEY CAUSED THIS MESS. WHY SHOULD I FEEL BAD. THEY SHOULD HAVE SEEN THIS COMING.'
Wukong felt pissed. But he moved and slowly backed away from the group. He ignored the thanks from the demons that had ran and the stares that came from his friends. He tossed the staff back to Mk and quickly transformed into a bird ignoring the questions that finally abrupt from everyone. He just flew away. All the way back home where he couldn't be bothered.

At least that's what he thinks.
