New beginning

Blains POV-
"Mom it's been 9 years since I last saw Lexi, I highly doubt she remembers me let alone recognizes me" I say as my mom pulled up the the Brook's house just two houses down from mine

We just moved back after I was forced to leave my Beat friend Lexi alone by herself, witch I feel really really really bad for I just up and disappeared from the face of the earth just about,

As my Mom is making me walk with her to the door I watch and she knocks on the door. I'm not sure what it was but something smelt like S'mores and hot chocolate?. All you can hear is a loud thud and a whimper, I got an uneasy feeling when the door opens to see a 5,5 red headed female holding her shoulder in pain when she opens the door.

I soon realized that that was LEXI!?, she looked nothing like how she was before, tho it was 9 years ago, she was waring a green and blue hoodie with some white shorts one and her hair pulled back with two stands at the front, she was kinda stunning, I take that back she was completely beautiful.

"Lexi! Honey! Are you okay deer??" My mom cried looking at her, I still couldn't get where the smell of s'mores and hot chocolate was coming from but when the door opened it got strong like a lot stronger, I was about to ask the same thing when I looked at her and froze.

That's the only thing my wolf said out of nowhere, I got a sudden urge to hold Lexi not that I expecting her to run to me and hug me.

My mom stood there is completely shocked, my Best friend for 18 years was my mate and I found this out after a paring out of nowhere to see her,

"BLANE CNENY!" My mom yelled while pulling Lexi away from I hated that she did that I was mad and I growled lower at her while the only thing Lexi did was whimper and submitted to my growl

"Oh my! I'm so sorry dear" my mom said letting go of her arm, I didn't know when it before I knew it I grabbed Lexi by her waist and pulled her to me, and glared at my mom for hurting my best friend, and my mate

"Damn kiddo" I heard an deep and recognizable voice, "Mr. Brook." I said it didn't like go and I could tell I was holding his Daughter close to me and glaring at him and my mom, "y'all should come In it's getting cold out" mr Brook said steeping aside

I was sitting beside Lexi, and for some reason I keep looking at her shoulder she was holding earlier, my wolf keep howling "I'm telling you something is wrong with her, I can't even get to her wolf, it's like she doesn't have on but I know she does" i may not know a lot when it comes to females or how the omegas work but my not being able to feel my Mates wolf is getting kinda worrying
