I was guilty.I felt it pool and lay heavy in the depths of my stomach and it never went away, not as I stared down at the message I left Satoru and not as I bit my lip anxiously awaiting for his reply.I haven't heard anything from him since  his mission started.

Not only was I feeling abit guilty but moreover worried.I was worried about my student and Satoru knows that if anything happens to him,his balls will be served to the counsel on a silver platter by none other than me.I always knew emotions were a powerful thing seeing as my psychology course really taught me well but if there was one emotion that triumphs all,it was anger.

I stare at the email.

Rotation staff status:

I felt those words rush through my head, anxiousness, the guilt and worry now morphing into anger. It coursed through my veins and only made my blood boil. The kids could suffer because of this email alone.I sit up so quickly the chair behind me hits the ground but I could care less as I stomp toward the meeting room.

My footsteps are fast and I feel my frown forming, trying not to scream as I reached the hallway and practically threw the doors to the old man's office open. "Yoshinobu," it was a growl and it most definitely catches his attention. The men that sat before him goes quiet, there voices morphing with the silence while I raise a single brow. "I'd like to speak with you."

"Gentleman this is Jujutsu Tech's infamous [First Name] [Last Name] and it seems she's adapted the habits of that rude brat,Satoru," his gray yet thick eyebrows raises, eyes narrowing on me but I pay no mind to him.I stare the gentleman down, they had come to discuss things on behalf of our neighboring school.

"Before he left he gave his title to me.I am to keep you and everyone else in check," my eyes bore into the ones of the strange men and my hands tightens into fists. "The wiser thing for these gentleman to do is to leave.I have something important to discuss and it cannot wait."

"[First Name]-" he didn't make it to my full government name before I cut him off with a dark look and a hard jaw.

"It cannot wait..sir," I say and narrow my own eyes at him.He sighs and respectfully allows for the gentleman to excuse themselves.I wait till I'm sure they're way out of ear view and turn back to the old man, staring him down while he sits nonchalantly on his sofa.

"Well spit it out girly," he waves his hand impatiently and makes himself comfortable.

"I've received the email. You really think I wouldn't?" I scoff and walk towards him, sitting down. "The second sector rotation staff was not run down by me."

"Ah yes,we had someone else do it.It seemed as if you were too busy to care," I hated the way he spoke.I was not too busy to care because my life was based on protecting the students of this fucking school.

"Bullshit," I curse and dig my hands into my knees.

"Watch your tone young lady. You've gotten too comfortable here at Jujutsu Tech.Or did you forget what you once were?" It stung like a bee but I'd always remember Suguru's words and I'd never let go of them.

You belong

You matter

If not for the students,I would've left years ago.

"With all due respect sir,it seems as if you have forgotten. My loyalties lie with this school and that means things like this must be moved through me before it can be approved," the rotation staff consisted of a new batch of cleaners. It sounds petty but anyone could be the enemy of Jujutsu Tech and the Jujutsu World so in order to stay protected,we rotate our staff every second sector for confidentiality purposes.
