I shy away from the plastic spoon of food attacking my face. "Minho, I'm not a child," I say, exasperated.

"What? Really? Since when? This is news to me." He raises his eyebrows, acting all innocent. I roll my eyes and giggle.

I actually really enjoy this kind of playful vibe. Being with Dae was almost too perfect, it didn't seem real. I guess it wasn't.

This feels new. This feels nice. I think I'm going to go for it. They always say go big or go home, and I'm already on my way home, so might as well hit the other half.

"You know what?" I turn to face Minho. He gives me his full, undivided attention. "Let's do this."

"...Let's do what? Finally finish eating this bibimbap? Seriously, if you're not gonna eat it, I will-" I interrupt him.

"I'll go out with you." His entire body freezes. And just like that, he melts into a puddle of elated disbelief. He blinks a few times before attempting to speak.

"Really?" I nod. "Oh, great. I was getting ready to play off being stuck in the friendzone for a long while. How long did that take? 9 hours?" I smile as I shove his smug face away from invading my bubble and roll my eyes.

"Oi, you sure like to roll your eyes." No comment. "You know, it's kind of rude to do so. Unless I'm the one causing it." I gasp and gape at him.

"Minho! How can you just say that?!" I frantically try to get him to shut up. "We're in public!"

He smirks again. Gosh, he's arrogant. "Sorry, kitten, I don't make the rules."

Again with the kitten.

"Not so fast, hotshot. I'm gonna have to get to know you some more before we dive headfirst into this. You're the notorious Mr. Imafriadofcommitment, so you've got some work to do to earn my full trust."

"Yes ma'am!" He gives a little salute before leaning in.

"So when are you eating that bibimbap?"
