Ivy POV
I needed to catch my breath more than anything but I couldn't stop running. It was even harder trying to breath with this mask covering my face. I picked up even more speed then before, I bet your thinking... "why is she running?" Well I have swat and the whole Atlanta Police Department on me. I just got done robbing a bank with my crew called Phantom.Trying to dodge the helicopter sight, I dipped off into a alley. I kept running and turned down the alley and was blocked in by a wall. I tried going back from where I came from but seen cop lights. "Shit", slapping my palm to my face. I knew it was a wrap right here.
As the police turned the corner, it was 3 cop cars blocking me in. "Put your hands up" all of them shouted. I dropped everything and threw my hands inna air. As they were walking towards me, someone grabbed me and put a gun to head. They whispered, " if you move once without my say so, I will shoot yo fucking Brains out. Move your pointer finger if you agreed".
I didn't know who it was, but best believe if I survived this, they were getting 2 bullets to the dome. Like a bitch, I moved my finger so I wouldn't get shot. The police was still holding position. Where did this mystery man come from? Why did he choose me to hold hostage while I have the entire police department on me?
"Let her go, She is wanted by swat and APD. We all can walk out this alive". One of the police officers yelled.
I didn't know what to do at the moment. I had a gun to my hand and over 6 guns pointed towards me."This is what we gone do, you will let me walk out here alive with this girl or my partner who attached a bomb to your car will blow you and this entire block up." The mystery man said.
The police officers were looking at each other and radioed in what he said. " if you don't believe me, check your car on the right and look on the left side of the car back tire". The mysterious man said.
Two officers did what he said and their eyes lit up.
"He is telling the truth. We have 30 seconds to decide before it blows. It is no way we can clear an entire block by then" one of the police officers shouted.I thought to myself, is this really how imma die? Either a bullet to my head or a fucking explosion. All I know I was vulnerable and I hated it more than anything.
" I believe you guys have 20 seconds to decide, all I have to do is shoot my gun in the air and my partner will disable the bomb. It's your choice, either let us go and we all make it out ... or simply let everybody on the block die, including us. Just think about the kids" the mystery man said. He did a slight chuckle.
I knew I was dealing with a fucking psychopath. Who the hell enjoys killing children.
"Sargent we have 10 seconds, what are we going to do?" One of the police officer said.
"8....7......6.......5.....4.....3....." the mystery man said.
"Let em go, STAND DOWN . STAND THE FUCK DOWN NOW." The Sargent I'm assuming yelled. With only 2 seconds left, the mystery man shot his gun in the air. As everybody ducked the bomb stopped at 1."Now if any of you try it, automatically the bomb will presume and go off. He is watching us with a sniper, so just because the bomb stops... he can restart it from that 1 second. Now you are going to clear the way and radio in and let us walk. Understand sarge ?" The mystery man said.
The helicopters cleared the air, the police officers removed their cars and cleared the path to freedom. Still with a gun to my head, he told me to start walking. I started walking rolling my eyes. We walked passed all the officers and we made it to the street. Down the street it was a black van pulling up. The mystery man threw me in the van and we pulled off.
