Chapter 5:
It was Labor Day Weekend, Ava was finally off punishment since school coming back up. Ava jumping on her bed.
Ava: I'm free! I'm free!
Caroline: oh god, shut up! You been doing that all morning
Ava: no more Ava come do this for me, Ava come do that for me
Caroline: *roll eyes* I'm going to miss you doing my chores for me, ow!
Caroline rubs her head after pillow gets thrown at her and glares at her.
Ava: what are you doing?
Caroline: finishing up my book report from the books we had to read this summer
Ava: you're still working on that? I've been done with mine since Uncle Sam made me do them while I was on punishment
Caroline: would you have done it if he didn't make you
Ava: nope! *saying popping the p* I love being free! *says while jumping happy on her bed*
Caroline: I am done, this is just extra credit assignment
Ava: nerd!
Caroline: how did you even get into this school anyways it's a lot of hard work
Ava: Uncle Sam says I'm really smart I just don't try that hard because my dad didn't really care much about how I do in school. All he says is "as long as you show up and I won't be going to jail"
Caroline: sound like Uncle Dean, would you stop all that jumping, it's annoying
Ava: make me!
???: sit your butt down!
Ava stopped bouncing and immediately flopped on the bed when she heard her Uncle voice, as both Sam and Dean walked in.
Sam: what did I say about jumping on the beds?
Ava: it's not a trampoline and I can break it
Dean: you just got off punishment Ava, don't make it habit
Ava: *gulps* yes sir, hey dad since I'm off punishment can I please go to Labor Day Jammy this weekend
Dean: what's that
Ava: all my favorite rappers will be attending and Cardi B is the head liner
Dean: rapping really?
Ava: *gives puppy dog eyes* please....
Sam: wait Labor Day? That's the day of your open house, you can't go
Ava: you're not my dad, you can't tell me what to do
Sam: excuse me
Dean: little girl you don't get to talk to your Uncle like that, apologize
Ava: *frowns* sorry Uncle Sam
Dean: and no, you're not going to the jammy especially with that attitude
Ava: this is a nightmare! Why do I have to attend a school that I don't even like *pouts sitting down* I missed out on everything this summer because I was on punishment and as soon as I'm not I can't attend because of silly little school opening night that most kids don't be attending
Dean: are we going to have any problems young lady? Or would you like to be back on punishment again
Ava: no sir...
Dean: you're going end of discussion *kiss her forehead*
On Labor Day.
The whole family went down to the girls new school and Ava.
Ava: oh look the exit, made just for me, let's go *starts to leave*
Dean: *holds her in place* mmm-hmm nice try. If I have to suffer through these rich people so do you
Ava: *groans* this is going to be torture...
???: Jess?
Jess: Theresa
Theresa: I'm so glad you can make it
Jess: it's good to see you. You met my husband and daughter this my brother in law Dean and his daughter Ava. She's the headmistress here, at (schools name) Theresa and I worked together many, many years ago
Theresa: that's one "many" too many
Jess: you're right
Theresa: well welcome to (school name) Ava. your Uncle and Aunt told me a lot about you
Ava: did they tell you I didn't want to come here?
Sam: *fakes laugh and tighten grip on her shoulder* our niece always with the jokes *gives her hard look to behave*
Ava rolled her eyes and cross her arm annoyed.
Dean: hmm... well, she's got one joke left. Keep it up watch what happens
Ava: *mumbles* sorry
Just then the Lodge's females came over and Theresa said.
Theresa: Marisol and Veronica. I'd like you to meet one of our new students
Dean/Ava: The Lodge's Family
Marisol/Veronica: Winchesters...
Ava: dad if you love me you would take me out of school all together
Theresa: is something wrong?
Marisol: we already know them, we have a long history. They're the reason why my daughter will not be attending the school she was bullied out of
Theresa: bullied?
Ava: yes bullied you see-
Sam: bah, bah bah! Too much information! *covers her mouth* it was a mistake ma'am and we already worked things out and the girls are friend now
Theresa: good because we don't tolerate bullying of any kind here. But I'm sure you two would be happy to get to know each other better
Veronica: ecstatic
Sam: I'm sure Ava would appreciate that
Ava: absolutely
Theresa: Mrs. Lodge, is one of the new founders of our school
Dean: already? What did you guys do buy it?
Marisol: yes
Dean: of course...
Veronica: we'll see ya around Winchester *walks away with her mom*
Ava: *whisper to Caroline* just when you think you got rid of all your problems, boom! Happens again, is this karma coming back to get me
Caroline: *whispers* I thought you forgave Veronica
Ava: that was before I found out she was coming here. I thought I was done with her
Caroline: oh... Ava...
Theresa: why don't I introduced you to more students Ava
Ava: uh no, one's is enough. I'm pacing myself
Sam: uh, well, why don't you we pick up the pace? *moves her over*
Theresa shows Caroline and Ava around, with the family walking behind and Dean said.
Dean: Sam... I'm not sure how I feel about paying for this school yourself. Are you sure it's not expensive because this place looks fancy
Sam: why you ask?
Dean: because they're auctioning off a Mercedes
Sam: well if you want your daughter to go back to public school where she can up having chemistry with that boy you despise
Dean: you can pay for any school you want *pats his shoulder*
Sam: that's what I thought
Theresa announced an old band that was playing and everyone clapped excited except for the girls.
Veronica: wow (says artist name) I guess little Kim was booked
Ava: you listen to Lil Kim
Veronica: only when I'm not listening to Leann Rimes
Ava: *chuckles* maybe you're not so bad after all Veronica. But you might as well assign me a number, because I feel like I'm in prison
Caroline: better get use to that
Ava: *to Caroline* how long do these shindigs usually lasts?
Caroline: usually 3 hours if we're lucky
Ava: dang, the concert will be mid show by then. I would be missing everything
Veronica: concert? Where are they playing
Ava: at the hole
Veronica: come on we should go
Ava: Veronica, I can't, we don't have a car and besides our parents already said no
Veronica: I've got a car, and leave the rest to me. Come on let's go *walks over to them with the girls* Winchesters? I was planning on meeting some of our classmates for a movie and a burger afterwards and I was hoping the girls could come with
Sam: you'll miss (artist name)
Veronica: uh, that's okay. I have the 8 track
Dean: no, no, no. It's okay Sam. So, what you need kiddo, a little cash? *hands it to her*
Ava: dang daddy, it's not a matinee
Dean: *gives her look and hands her more money*
Sam: I'm guessing you need money too
Caroline: yup, hand it over
Sam: here you, *whispers* and a little extra for cousin just in case, don't tell your Uncle
Caroline: cool, thanks dad *kiss his cheek*
Sam: well you two go ahead and have a nice time
Veronica: oh we will
Both Veronica and Ava smirk at each other.
Girls: bye *leaves*
Veronica: that was too easy
Caroline: I hate lying to them
Ava: oh relax they didn't suspect anything. If it was one of us we would have never gotten away with it since they can tell through our lies
Veronica: you're welcome, this is going to be an amazing school year
Ava: already know it! *high fives her*
The girls head out to the concert together.
