This is not so much an author's note as an author's reminder of what I have written. I write not for the audience but for myself. I write it to make my idea come to life, not for publicity.
The story is perhaps confusing, but I want it to be told that way. I want the characters to be human, but yet not human. Each character's animal has a special meaning to me, and shaped the way they have been written.
Also, this story was inspired by many, many quotes from books and people who don't write books, so if you see flowery language, it is probably not me but inspired by some quote I saw weeks ago.
I am not American, so the locations make no sense at all. But I like the names of the places, so I used them.
This story has nothing to do with The Fault In Our Stars. I love that book, but I'm just using the title for my story. It seemed right, somehow.
