Ernest awoke gasping for air.

"Another dream, just the same as always." He said before rising out of the old, crooked bed he was sleeping on.

The rain pounded against the window making the thoughts swirling around his head sound so quiet and non meaningful. His stomach started to rumble and ache with hunger so empowering  it was impossible to ignore. His fists started to clench uncontrollably and his lust for blood got stronger and stronger. Ernest raced out of the ancient shack he was staying in and went to find something to calm the hunger.

"NO!" He would say to himself "No more humans!"

Images of his past victims raced through his mind and the screams of them grew louder and louder before they became unbearable to listen to. Suddenly, hopping by was a soundless deer staring Ernest in the eyes. He took one step closer and the deer ran off into the nearby forest. Filled with hunger, Ernest ran after the deer before stopping to see the deer looking around into the forest. Ernest creeped up behind the deer before jumping ruthlessly onto the deer's back. He screamed with fear trying with all he could to get Ernest off his back but no matter how hard he tried, it was impossible. Ernest took one last look at the innocent deer's face before sinking his fangs straight into the back of the animals neck. The deer got slower and slower until eventually, it dropped lifelessly to the muddy, wet floor. Ernest took one hand and wiped his mouth before  disappearing back to the shack with no regrets and a for filled hunger lust.
