A/N- this isn't much I know, but I'll be sure to post again real soon. I have to have surgery on my foot so I haven't had any time to write. I'm really scared y'all, like I've never had any type of surgery done before.

~ You know when he said take me out I thought he meant take me out. Although I'm not complaining about our little walk around and stop for ice cream it's just too quiet. Elijah can be a very quiet person when he wants to be and right now it's clear he wants to be. We parked a few minutes back and have been walking around the strip seeing a little bit of everything.

I even brought some cute gloves, it has penguins on it. I think there so adorable.

I stuffed them in my pocket and we sat down on a bench by this water-fountain that I of course couldn't pass up the chance of sticking my hands in. It was so beautiful, the lights and clear blue water. The sound of the water continuously falling and the smell was somehow calming.

This little kid and his mom was just right beside me and he looked up at me as we both had our hands in the water.

He waved and I did the same earring a sappy smile. The one that only kids could make look cute even with one missing front tooth. He tugged on his mothers tan trench coat and whispered something. The lady only waved her hand and the child quickly ran towards me stumbling a bit.

I was on my knees with my folded jacket beneath me so when he came and stood at my right we were almost neck and neck. "Hi." I smiled softly, a little confused as to why she didn't even question his coming to a stranger.

"Hello, I'm Danny." He excitedly explained leaning over the fountain and touching the bottom.

"I'm August, it's nice to meet you Danny."

"Really? I'm nice to meet?"

"Of course you are. Why wouldn't you be?"

"My sister says I'm a little shit so this must mean I'm not nice to meet."

His brows knitted together clear confusion on his face as he uttered the words through a lisp.

"I'm sure she didn't mean it. Siblings can say things they don't mean sometimes."

"You have sib- sublings?" He says trying to pronounce the word as best he can.

I laughed, lightly shaking my head. "Yes I have a little brother, his name is Bellamy."

"Is he my age?"

"He's four, turns five in two months."

"I'm six. Do you have a boyfriend?"

Laughing I nod. "You see that grown man sitting over there staring at the cement?Yeah, he's mine."

He snapped his head fast enough to break his neck which made me wince. Kids do some weird shit. "Is he mean to you?"
