— i swing in between cars, chasing down the cab kingpin was in. i pull myself up with my web, i let go making me in perfect position to land on top of the cab.
i hear a thud as i land on top of the yellow cab, it swerved past many cars. i feel the cold air run through my hair as i look up watching the car drive frantically.
my eyes widen when i feel my spider sense tell me to move, and i do. i move right in time before i hear a loud gun shot echoing through my ears.
if i hadn't moved in time i would've been shot clean in the head. i quickly slam myself through the back see widow breaking it. i crawl in the back seat to be met with kingpin looking at me.
"you" he said before going to punch me which i dodged without a hint of emotion. i reach my leg up and kick his arm blocking a few hits from him.
the two of us fight in the back of the car, throwing punches and dodging. i kick him clean in the jaw. he lets out a small groan grabbing his jaw. he looks at me with hatred in his eyes.
"sorry?" i laugh out in a awkward chuckle. kingpin doesn't say a thing but he puts his fists up and goes to punch me. but misses.
i look to where is hand is inches away from my face, that's when i figure it out. he was never aiming for me he was aiming for the car door.
he rips the door clean off its hinges throwing the door into the crowed street, i watch as people swerve at the door being hurtled in their direction.
i feel a large hand grip my neck and push me down. my eyes widen when i look at kingpin choking me just inches above the road. the taxi going at least 60.
i grip onto his wrist trying to pull myself up but no avail. i let out a small groan when kingpin pushes me even closer to the road.
"who the hell are you?" he said his voice deep and full of venom. he gripped my neck tighter, cutting my airways.
i let out a gasp as i try to get some air in my lungs but fail. i look around for anything that could help, that's when i see in his suit pocket was the phone i had stolen earlier. i knew there was a read to go after him. a small smirk forms on my face as i managed to get my legs under him.
i push him off of me with my legs making his slam into the other side of the back seat. i quickly shoot a web at the car door frame, holding myself up.
i shoot a web grabbing the phone poking out of his pocket. the phone comes flying towards me, i catch it and put it in my leather jacket.
my smile grows as i sit myself up now staring at kingpin who looked at me with wide eyes. i quickly shoot a web out the car grabbing a hold of a truck flying me out of the car.
