"why is everyone looking so...sad?" you asked while looking around the lunchroom with curiosity filling you. "haven't you heard? prom got canceled.." Jesse said, looking at everyone looking down. 'what happened?' you thought looking in the corner to see that one kid andrew looking at you and it looked like he was kind of day dreaming.."i'll catch you later Jessi, i have Gym first" you said while grabbing your bags, gym wasn't so bad as your teacher was infamous coach steve. "hello lady~" Andrew said, walking over slowly. while wearing a...is that a hat?.. "hi?, uhm Andrew is it?" you said smiling politely, this was obviously awkward but he was trying. His eyes lit up as you said his name. "Ahh you know me.." he said awkwardly while you just nod slowly, looking anywhere but him. "Hey i'm gonna be late for gym..ill cya later Andrew.." you said before waving and turning around to leave. "wait!" he said suddenly, his arms out as he was trying to stop you. "will you go to prom with me!" he said awfully loud, everyone around us turning their heads to stare.."Uh I'm sorry, isn't prom canceled..and i don't know you well.." you said tilting your head, you just wanted to go to class, now your stuck rejecting someone..he just stared at you and awkwardly laughed, he was sweaty and kinda red. "that's fine! ahah..ha.." he said standing up and running out the hallway, 'poor guy..' you thought watching where he ran off to, now you have to make it up to him. but you didn't know how. "Don't stress it Y/N." Jessi said, walking up to you and putting a hand on your shoulder, "Andrews fine". She says, smiling and looking where you were looking. "yeah i know, but i'd still like to try and be his friend, for his sake." you say straightening your shirt and beginning to walk to class, leaving Jessi behind.
'i'll just sit with him at lunch..' you thought to yourself as you walked into the girls locker room.
