Humming under her breath as she held onto to the overhead handle on the bus, [Name] checked the time on her phone.

'20 minutes left but I should be arriving soon and the walk from the stop is only about 5-10 minutes'

As the bus came to a halt, the girl began making her way towards the exam location. With each step she took, [Name] could feel the doubt slowly begin to creep in again and desperately tried to block out the thoughts by focusing on the lyrics of the song playing on her headphones.

'UA, people from all over the country will be trying to get in, after all, it is the most sophisticated and top rated hero academies.'

' Lots of people mean a diverse selection of quirks and there's bound to be a ton of people who could score way higher than me-'

[Name] was pulled from her thoughts as she accidentally nudged the person in front of her, failing to halt to a stop due to her lack of attention to her surroundings.

That was a quick walk.

"Sorry" [Name] apologized as she came face to face with the person she walked into. The girl looked to be around her age with pale pink skin that not only complimented her short, pink locks of hair but also the energetic gleam in her eyes.

'She must be here for the entrance exam too.'

"It's no problem, nerves often get the better of us. I'm Mina Ashido, what's your name?"

"Ah it's [Name] [Last Name]"

"Well [Last Name], good luck - I hope we both pass so we can see eachother around!" She grinned skipping into the building after checking in.

[Name] walked into the building in turn after also checking in and collecting a name tag. She followed the crowd of people walking in to what the girl assumed to be the auditorium.

After a while, all seats were full and excited murmurs filled the room. However, they all died down the moment a loud screech pierced through the conversations.

"What's up, UA candidates? Thanks for tunin' in to me, your school DJ. C'mon. And lemme hear ya!"

'Damm, that was really embarrassing'

"Keeping it mellow, huh? That's fine, I'll skip straight to the main show. Let's talk about how this practical exam is gonna go down, okay? Are you ready? Yeah!"

With all the rules explained, the faces fleeing the hall, making their way to their designated grounds, were all mixed reactions; some nervous, some excited, some cocky, others indifferent. [Name] made her way to her centre, creating a base plan in her mind.
