As Alex walked into class he noticed a new girl. He was attracted to her along with every other boy in their class. She looked at Alex and waved him over. At first he was surprised but he thought of it as a chance to get to know her. So he sat down next to her.
She smiled at him as he sat down. She said,
"Hi, my name's Sara."
Alex as normal didn't say much. He would look at her when she would have her head down working.
Alex really liked Sara. So the next day he sat by her again so he could try to talk to her. He told her his name. And they whispered in class not paying attention to the teacher. Each day Sara and Alex would do this. Alex's grades started to drop and he became more in love with Sara.
So after 3 months of this Alex thought he might take a chance and ask Sara out on a date. He doubted that she would say yes. It was hard for him because he has had so many broken hearts.
Alex walked up to Sara after class the next day and said,
"Sara, each day I have fallen more and more in love with you. So I hope you feel the same way because I want to ask you out on a date."
Sara was touched but she had a secret, a huge secret. She knew if she said yes she would have to tell him but she liked him so much it didn't matter any more so she said yes!
