The Gods and Goddesses will be a mix between PJO and Danmachi, therefore they will be OOC. I'm using both their forms from danmachi, PJO and some other series. for example, Ares, Hermes, Poseidon, Zeus, Dionysus, Hera, Hades have their form from PJO.
I know that Ares and Aphrodite ended up together in pjo but in this story they didn't and she'll be looking for a new love, hoping it to be a true one this time.
Some background from Aedes Vesta danmachi anniversary is also mixed in this story. It shows that even though Artemis and Aphrodite are usually throwing insults to each other, the latter deeply cares for the former as she cried when she heard Artemis was sent back to heaven.
I'm sorry for releasing another story but I have to get this one out of my mind first lol.

Plaything.
That was what her lover called her.
An extremely beautiful woman with long golden-blonde hair cried her heart out where no one could hear her, or that was what she expected until a voice called her.
"Dite..." a feminine and soothing voice resounded.
Dite, or known as Aphrodite, the Greek Goddess of beauty, love, desire, passion, pleasure and fertility quickly wiped her tears away hearing her best friend walking toward her worrily.
"Tia." She turned to Tia, or known as Hestia, the Goddess of hearth, fire, home and family. The Goddess had a form of a child since Hera had prohibited Hestia to assume her adult form because her beauty surpassed the Queen of Olympus herself.
"Why are you so sad, Dite?" Hestia's warm voice resounded again as she took a seat beside the Goddess of Beauty.
Aphrodite hugged her knees closer to her chest. Her body shook a bit and some sniffling could be heard.
"It's...nothing." Dite answered shakily. Hestia easily spotted the lie and assumed her adult form and wrapped her best friend in a hug.
"Dite, let it out... I'm here for you..." Tia whispered. That broke the dam Dite built in a spur of moment and cried harder than before as she buried her face at the crook of Hestia's neck.
Not far from their location, a certain blue haired Goddess of the Moon and Hunting heard the cry and quickly ran toward the origin only to find a crying Aphrodite with Hestia trying to calm the Goddess.
Artemis looked at the golden haired Goddess in worry since Aphrodite was not someone who would cry her heart easily when something occurred.
She always had a happy go lucky attitude and an immunity to insults mortals or immortals threw at her.
Artemis' feet unconsciously brought her to the two Goddesses' bench before she took a seat on Aphrodite's left and wrapped her arms around the two.
True, she and Aphrodite threw insults at each other quite often, but that didn't mean she wouldn't care about her great aunt especially in this situation.
Hestia gave a grateful glance to Artemis and Aphrodite started to calm down before pulling away from Hestia. Noticing that Artemis was beside her and holding one of her hand with the Goddess of Hearth holding the other one truly soothed her mind a bit.
"Tia, Artemis..." Aphrodite's whisper could be heard clearly even if they were in open space.
She took a deep breath before continuing.
"Am I...am I just a plaything?"
The Goddesses' eyes widened at her broken voice and question before they narrowed dangerously at a certain God that could have said those words to their fellow Goddess.
"Ares!" the two whispered angrily.
"He...he doesn't love me... all this time, he has been...using me..." Dite said between her sobbings. "I'm just a...plaything for him...a slut...a whore...to satisfy his needs..."
Artemis' left knuckles were turning white from how tight she gripped the bow while Hestia's eyes lost the warmth she held.
"He doesn't love me..., he doesn't care for me...it was all a lie..."
Aphrodite cried harder this time.
The beauty that people thought was a blessing was actually a curse for her. Mortals and Immortals fell in love with her but not for who she was. They fell for Aphrodite because they lusted her beauty.
As a Goddess of Love, she wanted to find a true love but she couldn't find her own one because that was a curse bestowed to her by the Fates.
That's why she slept with many men, mortals and Immortals until she ended up with Ares who she had thought was her True Love.
Eventually, this one too, betrayed her.
Hestia could only look in worry.
She didn't know how many times her aunt could last with her heart being broken like this.
Artemis didn't really know how to comfort Aphrodite since she herself had never fallen in love except for that one time that she had a soft spot for Orion until the latter decided to try to assault her late at night.
She couldn't just blurted out that Aphrodite shouldn't fall in love again after this incident. If this was a normal occurrence, perhaps she would say that out loud, but this was a different one than those normal ones.
That night, the Goddess of Hearth and Goddess of Moon comforted the Goddess of Beauty, telling her that they should take a walk in New York and have a girl's day out.
