3rd person pov
It had been a month since school had started and things have been going well for Aiden and jake, they grew closer and made more friends. Jake was walking to his class when he bumped into someone, it was Tom. Jake felt his face turning bright red as he got up, " oh shoot sorry for that jake" Tom said " yea don't worry about it" jake replied while picking up the books he had dropped. They both were talking while they were walking to there class, "do I like Tom..?,no, no jake not everyone you meet is into you." Jake thought, pushing away those thoughts . Tom and jake both sat down in their seats and listened to what ms.Krystal had to say, " okay class today you have have a report on Canadian history, you'll have to pair up together and present your project by next week".

Jake pov
Great a report, I wonder who's going to be my partner. Maybe I can ask Tom, I grabbed a piece of paper and wrote " hey Tom wanna be partners"and I gave it to him. I waited for a reply until I heard voices behind me. " how can he be friends with him, I know Jake is so weird what if he is gay too?!" I felt my blood boil " hey Yul how about you shut the hell up if you don't want a black eye" I yell across the room. I couldn't believe I just did that and before I knew it I was in the principals office. I tried explaining that I wasn't in the wrong but I was still handed 2 weeks of detention. Great I was getting punished for nothing, I skipped the rest of the class and walked into someone.

Dan pov
It was my first day at this new school, I was half excited and half nervous. I was already lost and skipped half of my class trying to find it and I accidentally bumped into someone. " hey watch where your going." The guy said. What the heck, I didn't even see him and he was mad at me? Whatever I'll just keep looking for my class. I finally found my class and the teacher introduced me, I think he was a little annoyed on how late I was but it wasn't too much of a deal. I looked for an empty seat and sat down. I looked over and saw a guy with funky looking hair, "I could use some friends" I thought while waving at the guy. We talked for a bit and realized his name was Aiden, he seem nice

3rd person pov
Jake was still angry about having detention he didn't think it was fair that he had detention but still went to it. Jake opened the door and saw 2 people in there, they quickly shoved him aside and locked the door. " uh what was that for" Jake said, one of the girls said " we just had to lock the door so the teacher doesn't come back, I'm Ellie and that's gabby" " oh okay why are you in here?" Jake asked " gabby caused a small fire in the chemistry lab" " it wasn't my fault" gabby yelled from across the room. Jake walked to an empty desk and sat down, he was thinking about the report and how he left Tom like that, he felt horrible and didn't know what to do. Out of nowhere jake found himself saying " hey do any of you know Tom? The senior?" " yea I do why?" Ellie replied " I need his number, we were assigned a report before I was sent here" Jake said. Demarion finally ended and jake gabby and Ellie found themselves talking to each other. Jake Said bye to them both as he left for the bus, jake got onto the bus and sat down next to Aiden.

Aiden pov
I was annoyed with Jake, I can't believe he was so rude to Dan today. I was looking out the bus window until I saw Jake walking into the bus and waved at me. Jake tried to talk to me but I avoid conversation with him, I just didn't know  he had this "toxic" trait to him. " Aiden did I do anything, what's wrong?" Jake asked looking confused. " it's nothing, just tired" I said and he seemed to believe it. We got off the bus and started walking home, " hey Jake can I ask you something" "anything" jake replied. " what happened in your old school, why do you avoid talking about it?" Jake feel quiet and looked down for a second, I could tell I made him feel a bit uncomfortable but I wanted to know. " everything was going well for me at my old school, I had lots of friends and people were friendly to me. There was one guy I was close to so I came out to him and that was a horrible idea, he ended up telling everyone and anyone about me being gay. I just hope I don't run into James again" jake said. " wow, and how did you deal with that?" I  replied " just tried to be myself, because pretending to be someone else would never make people know the real you." Jake answered " pretend to be some else" I thought.

Tom pov
Great so Jake is now in detention, I don't know why everyone keeps picking on him. I want to know more about that guy. Bzzz! I got a notification from a unknown number, I looked over and it was jake that's weird I don't really remember giving him my number but I tried to not thing about it. We ended up talking for a while and I forgot about our report, " Jake is so funny and kind cute" I thought to myself. What heck was I thinking I wasn't gay, was I?
The next day me and jake met up in the library to start our report, " Tom? Tom! Helloooo..?" I snapped out of my thought and looked over at him " huh?! Yes hello hi!!" I said trying to find words "Tom, did you hear anything I was saying?" Jake asked "yea sorry i was just deep in thought" I replied. Well deep thought inst going to get this project. " was i gay.? Was I falling for Jake?" I kept thinking about it
