Today is the day, my babies first day of school! I met the teacher a few days before today. I'm on my way to there school now too. I pulled up in a parking space & took the key out of the ignition. I grabbed my purse & phone & headed towards the door. The school goes up to 5th grade here. As I walked up, August's car pulled in a few spaces down from mine. I waited outside the doors as he got out to get the kids. He took them out one by one but it was only Diamond & Anthony, no Aubree. Diamond looked up & she ran up to me.

Mommy ! She yelled as she ran into my arms. I looked at her outfit & it was cute.

Who picked out your outfit, you or daddy? I asked her as I saw August & Anthony walk up.

She did , August said blankly. He had on his sunglasses as I did mine. He looked serious, like real serious. I looked at him & then looked back at Diamond.

Come on , let's go , I said grabbing her hand. We walked through the door & to the classroom. We walked up to the classroom. Some kids were crying & some were waving bye. I bent down to Diamond.

She's 5 & going on 6. I did the same with Anthony.

Bye mommy bye daddy, Diamond said as she kissed my cheek. Anthony did the same. He dapped his dad, I let that slide. Diamond gave August a big wet kiss on his cheek. I watched as they ran into the classroom & went over with the other kids. I whipped the few tears that fell & started to walk out. I could feel August on my tail. I walked to my truck & unlocked it. As I opened the door, August stuck his hand out & pushed the door shut & got in front of me. He crossed his arms & bit his lip.

There's someone sitting in a black car to the left, I whispered pulling away from him. He looked at me & then looked to the left. I couldn't tell who the driver was but it was a male. They sped off before we could see.
