I was running, faster than even they could imagine I was able. I could hear something in the distance. A motorcycle, I thought. That didn't matter, all that mattered is that I got away from there. I needed to find somewhere safe for me and for the people around me. Where no one could find me. The motorcycle was growing ever closer, I couldn't ignore it any longer. I was blocked from the next part of the forest by a thin highway. I could now see the motorcycle, about half a mile away. I decided to make a break for it across the road. Too late! I felt the full force of the motorcycle hit me from the side. The man riding it stopped immediately, which meant that I merely bounced off the front of the bike and skidded across the road. Though I knew that I would recover quickly, I was in a great deal of pain and struggled even to open my eyes. The rider came over to me and put their two fingers on the side of my neck, evidently to check my pulse. He then picked me up and propped me up on the back of his bike. He drove on as I slowly lost consciousness.
